well ISS has*****ed up and I am ****ed. First Consido is under attack as I am writing this. My shares are about to become worthless... They kicked the Corp out of the Alliance that was maintaining sovereignty for the Outpost systems before getting any towers online to maintain. Consido is being attacked and there are no ISS defending the system!!!

Well, considering how much LV has invested in ISS, I can understand you trying to maintain your optimism.

Putting my uber tin-foil hat (tm) on, I read on eve-search (love those unedited posts) you have your order wrong. Sov was lost, so the corp was kicked.
Consido under attack? OMG Panic! what with the whole 11 pilots in the system? Quick, I'll give you 10m per share, best bargain you're gonna see in a long time.
That's some revisionist bull**** that you're feeding the EVE Community here.

Edited by: PointingAndLaughing on 24/06/2006 01:35:27 And that's all even besides the point.
ISS didn't follow their own security plan that they publicly advertised to attract investors. It's a very simple truth. ISS promised something which they never gave. An alliance as big as ISS should not rely on just one sole member corp to maintain everything for them. This is especially important when considering how many member corporations there are in ISS.
This situation quite simply should not be, regardless of the current circumstances or the outcome.

As of the last minute, Consido no longer belonds to ISS.

Sure. So they gave notice that they wanted to leave ISS. ISS starts to put up towers and then boots the Corp.
...What you don't realize is that the person who put up the towers didn't know what they were doing and never onlined them. And ISS made a hasty decision to boot the corp.
How can you blame that corp now?
As you say...it says it all right there in the corp CEO's post. Seems they did everything to leave on a friendly note.
Well looks like I was wrong about the 11 ships thang, guess a Nyx and Moros with all of ISS asleep worked for someone.
As for your uneducated bovine reflection on my post, point the browser of your 'alt with, a main with a rep to uphold'(bawk!) to: http://www.eve-search.com/index.dxd?thread=354863What the sov. corp said[url]

Yah. If you pay attention: a) the corp lost sov in IS b) the ISS kicked the corp c) the corp whined that it was unfair
So corp was kicked POST sov. lost.
ISS only lost sovereignty because they couldn't be bothered to online the towers they anchored days before that corp removed theirs.
Days. I was on to see the Alliance mails.

I'm sorry, but from an investor's perspective, I cannot personally hold this corp responsible. Corps leave alliances all the time. ISS did not follow the promised security policy.
Sovereignty was supposed to be held by ISSO and ISSL starting from Day 1 of Consido being operational.
