i have aquired a dramiel blue print, i'm not sure what to do with it, i dont even know what kind of ship it is or if i can fly it, should i build it? should i sell it? should i copy it? what do i need besides the minerals listed to build it?

The only thing you need to build anything from a blueprint is what is listed on the Manufacturing sub-tab in the Bill of Materials tab.
And for the record, you can't copy it, since what you have is already a copy. Sell it, build the ship and sell it, or build the ship and use it. Whatever, really. Check escrow to see what they go for.
(On the Attributes tab of the blueprint, go down to the "Produces" entry and click on the i that's in the blue square, and you can see the Dramiel's stats.)

thanks, i figured it just looked more difficult than it was, and thanks for pointing me to the place where i can get info on what kind of ship it is

Its a faction ship, and can net you a lot of money in terms of what newbs make by selling either the ship or print.
Check escrow or what prices others are selling them for, otherwise check the sell forums for any auctions going down on them. Its an Angel frigate, in the same league as their Daredeveil.

ya, at first i was set on keeping it but then i researched the price lol now i back to being unsure on whether to keep it or not...d'oh

i havent descided yet, this is my first big ticket item so i want to make sure i make the right descission ya know, anyway, if i do sell it would be the ship for 120mil, atleast thats what i'm thinking right now anyway, if i descide to sell i'll contact you first, cool?

Sell it, get a cruiser, or a battleship if you're so inclined. It's not worth it for that ship =/

it almost killed me too, it was acompanied by four ambushers, i gave the dramiel everything i had and popped it first, by the time i popped the the first ambusher i had no shields no armor and half hull, i warped my rifter to a near by starbase and repaired, then i went back and finished off the other three and collected my loot.
does anyone know what it insures for?

Faction ships and tech 2 ships insure for diddly. If you get blown up in it, you're going to lose almost all of its value.
(This is because insurance is based off of mineral cost, not market value. The Dramiel is very cheap to build, but is very expensive to get a blueprint for. Unfortunately, blueprint costs don't count for insurance value.)

I have a Dramiel. Ship insures for 280,000 ISK - basic mineral cost. It's probably worth about 15-25 Million, plus something for collector value. It's essentially a T2 frigate that you don't need the high skills for. It does require both Minmitar and Gallente frigate III plus Command I. Total projectile turret damage bonus works out to about 50% as I recall. I had to train Minmitar projectile turrets since I'm Gallente, but that was it. You get to bypass the frigate IV, Mechanic & Engineering V, and Advanced Frig I.
You commonly see them in escrow for upwards of 125 Million. I think this is for collector value. I'm not sure anyone buys them for that much. I got my BP on my first low sec ratting run. I killed a Serpentis or Angel officer of some sort and the BP dropped. Since it was my first "high level" kill, I figured they dropped all the time. Haven't seen one since. I plan on selling mine when I can get a T2 Frig on my own, and I'll sell for a lot less than 125 million I think. Very cool looking ship though.

the only ones i found on the market where selling for 125 mil, thats why i started at that price, this is also why i'm sitting on it, i'm short about 90 noxium to build it, and i need the gallante frig skill to, i still dont know if i going to keep it though

Here's what'll happen - you finally get around to building it, then you'll wanna take it out on a test run. Lag happens, rats get it, or some dude who decides a BS loss is worth a Dramiel killmail. Bye-bye 100 mil or so.

You know she's right just sell the bp for like's 110 mill,it'll be snaped up,i just bought the vigilant bpc for 85 mill
