Perhaps we are on different time zones - but I have only just stirred myself out of bed and read this. Firstly can I say how much I welcome the C.C. I knew it would not be long before the good people of Curse stood up to the Pirate horde. It will be dangerous for them, but MASS and I am sure SA as a whole will do our best to aid them. Secondly the matter of us buying pirates. MASS does not advertise for members, and we would never think of offering inducements to join MASS. It is difficult to get into MASS, and what is important is the desire to contribute to MASS, and become a team player in a cooperative focused Corp that plays closely together for fun and specific goals. Do we accept pirates? I have stated before on these boards that we were willing to become friends with Red Corsairs who we were at war with, because they said they wished to change from the path of pirates. We understand that many good players have tried the dark way in this game. If they can convince me that they not only truely wish to give up pirating, but also will put MASS before their own individual needs - then yes I will accept them. The three character you mention do not come into this area though. Pschopath was refused. 1man was one of the original members of MASS many months ago. He said he wanted to try the pirate life and we asked him to leave MASS. He tried it and soon realised he did not like it (realising you are upsetting people in real life can spoil your own fun for people with emphathy). He deleted his character and left the game. He has recently made a new character with the same name and has come home. Xeno is a fine person and has been known to MASS for a long time I thought Legitimate Businessmens club were proud to be pirates - I would be interested to know if this is not so - and what other people thoughts are about you as a Corp. |

So you agree that Sinister and RUS came into Curse and allied themselves with you so they could attack SA. Think about it carefully - how would you react to this if you were SA? On a side note we are not at war with Red Corsairs because we don't realise they are merely a 'role playing corp', but because they destroyed an indie of ours with 14 million worth of skills in it, and refused to even dicuss it with us. I imagine they are happy to role play the result of that action as being stamped on everytime we find them. |

Yes Jim, we both knew it was going to be an all out fight - pity you didn't explain that to your new allies. I am not sure what my shoes have to do with this, but MASS as a Corp have yet to engage you - you will know when we do |

Noctos - Surely you know you came to fight us? It has been made quite clear by Jim and others on this thread. Why do you think RUS allied with you after spending weeks trying to kill you all? They needed you to attack SA in gerneral, and MASS in particular, and we thank you for that. We are a fighting Corp, and I must say I am developing some respect for Sinister as fighters over the last few days. It seems that many of the Corps that allied with you are not primerally fighting corps and actually thought you were going to mine with them, and give up your pirating ways. So they welcomed you along with the Herod School of Baby Sitting that I understand set up an office in Curse as well. It was you who betrayed them - I have great deal of respect for them for admitting they were fooled, and to do something about it. |
