Don't you mean Mordor got there asses handed two them when a much smarter force or elves, wizards and various other light side creatures all came to rally together to beat the half witted and a bit brain dead orcs and trolls?

Minnies batphoning half of EVE - Still loosing majority of Fights I seem to recall beating the amarr and Bio every time i have been invoved the past couple days. Regardless, it has been a blast, and i can only hope this bloodbath continues through till monday, as I won't be able to get on so much action this weekend
They are only telling people about the few fights they won, the rest didn't happen I guess or it was all Gallente and neutrals fighting while Minmatar count there LP lol.
Its just a tactic they use to get newbies to join up and keep them from quitting afew days after because of all the fail. |

This is the first major FW system seige since the patches that have hurt farmers. It would be very interesting if some clever people did the statistics on the conflict, if this campaign has been as epic as we suspect we could petition CCP to put a monument in Huola. All FW militias were represented, all militias had achievements to be proud of (inclufing pirate low sec forces, militia allied or third party) Faction Warfare would not hurt to have a publicity boost, if the numbers are impressive this could be FW's version of BR..
Any thoughts? The Huola campaign would serve as a nice contrast to stalemated coalition Null Sec...
Very few people outside of FW know this is even going on. To a lot of the big null sec alliances its just afew t1 frigs flying small gang in low sec. I wrote to afew eve news sites and they never got back to me.. |

To tell the truth it wasn't the impact of the English speaking minmatar community who won this war. As the Amarr were pushing Huola about 10 people in Ctrl-Q were going on vacation and promptly leaving the corp for the whole campaign. The system was being pushed while half of our forces were either not in system and had no idea what was happening or did not feel like logging in. I managed to rally a few people who were able to fight to make a 20 man fleet to defend the system. One member of the fleet was Gallente and told me more of them would join the fight soon to help defend the system. Only the Russian part of the minmatar community were actively running fleets to defend Huola by the afternoon and the Minmatar were joining fights which were far outnumbering what winmatar and Amarr were able to muster by late European time.
By day two the Gallente had joined the battle and we were able to hold the system while they were fighting at night after all the Minmatar forces had logged off for bed. The mighty derptron and long range kestrel were able to fend off what was left of the Amarr forces and get a lot of kills all round. The next morning the system was less contested due to the efforts of the Gallente and pirate factions and our forces the minmatar were able to celebrate content that we had done a good job.
As the war went on people from around the systems joined the allied fleets or started to run their own fleets to help protect the system. The same pattern started to emerge with American and Australian Gallente forces holding the system at night and the matar forces joining fleets when Amarr were outnumbered in our evening time. We were happy to get kills against weaker forces in our own time zone while the Gallente and Pirate corps were holding the fight outnumbered at night.
By the end we were able to stabilize the system by plexing at night and padding out our own killboards with easy kills. All in all the Minmatar forces were able to log in at their peak times and join fights which were vastly in our favor thus keeping moral high while the real work was being done by forces which were not in our time zones.
I made a passing suggestion that long a long range Algos could be used to attack at long range, but other ships such as kestrels would be needed to support them. This was brushed off as not being practical in low sec. The next day when I had logged in an Algos fleet with the very same concept as I had surgessted minus support ships was slaughtered by the amarr forces. No surprises there.. At one point I also suggested that a member of the fleet who was a known blue on blue suspect not be given the role of logi anchore. And that I could not understand why his mic was constantly open when not talking which he harshy refused to admit. This suggestion was met with strong critisism that we need every one in fleet. I refused to fly in the fleet until he was removed, I noticed the whole fleet had docked up and was told that all the people who were calling targets were primaried one by one at the start of the fight. This lead people to belive that because I had suggested that there was a spy in the fleet this must mean that 'I must be a spy!' was demoted back to recruit..
After Amarr forces started to give up the fight and Caldari promptly realized that the campaign was doomed to fail and left system soon after the Minmatar forces were able to claim all out victory against the Amarr. There was even a post on our forums with a list of the top killers which of course were all long term corp chaps who all go on holiday together each year together 'Bravo chaps!' I am sure that Ctrl-Q will be logging into their Jita scamming and trading alts happy in the thought that they have vanquished the amarr scrubs single handily.

Our entire corp concluded you were either a spy, mentally challenged, or both. You spent hours and hours logged on and chatting **** in militia whilst being "too busy" to undock.
Look at my killboard and say that...I had as many kills as you according to your little honors board.. and probably 1/10th experience in eve and pvp as you do. Now try say that bs again please.. It wasn't that I was too busy to undock, just that I didn't feel like flying with your sorry crew as you treat people who kill their own militia inside plexes and pirates with more respect than people who are actually trying to fight to help you guys. If you think I'm a spy you guys seem a lot more mentally challenged to me. Why would I be taking the time to log in from 8am till midnight just so I could spy on a bunch of idiots like you guys... |

Christine Peeveepeeski wrote: LOL funny that, my first choice was minmatar on this very charachter. What changed my mind was player behaviours. Minmatar treated me as a newb like **** (although TRIAD were not the cause of this, I am one of the few amarrians that have love for TRIAD due to respecting old corps i've been in), amarr welcomed me with open arms and helped me learn the mystical ways of FWfu. Granted it makes the rp spin on my chars tale interesting but now i have a bunch of good people to fly with.
Minmatar and Gallente treat everyone like noobs or spys even though they them selves never set foot in a t2 cruiser more than once per month if that. FW seems to revolve around how many solo kills you are able to make and how much LP and ISK you are able to horde by doing missions. There is even a challenge where you are meant to fly a t1 frigate and get the most solo kills per month in that ship lol. |

Yep I left right after things were starting to cool down because I actually was trying hard to contribute to the war. Why would I want to fly with a corp who I was trying to help telling me I must be a spy or mentally challenged by your entire corp... with absolutely 0 evidence. Its pretty much a big kick in the teeth to do some thing like that to a new member after they were trying their best to help. Would I be happy to do this all again... no way. |

Mind backing that up?
David Devant pretty much sums up the bad attitude as a whole in Ctrl-q with his personal insults and bad language.. You do realize that only frigates can get into novice plexes right? And we were meant to be fitting armour tristans? Maybe I should have fit an officer fit Stratios to go into mediums just to not look like a spy??
Maybe we are able to discuss this without throwing insults and name calling? |

Dreaded Vengance wrote:Lilith5 wrote: Minmatar and Gallente treat everyone like noobs or spys. IIRC the only person in CTRL-Q to accuse anyone of being a spy (incorrectly) was.......... drum roll..........you! And again, IIRC when you were complaining on TS that you couldn't undock from your home station, in a frig because a single dude was bothering you...whilst we were in the middle of a fight, even the middle class masses of the Min/Gal EU TZ can be excused for politely asking you to hush for a moment. Nice 400mm SFI fit btw, you do realise that even if you put a frig sized module on it, it still doesn't fit into a novice?
I only mentioned that a guy who kills his own faction and has farmers in both the Caldari and Amarr militia shouldn't be made logi anchor in a fleet. I didn't constantly make comments in TS about how there was a spy in channel every time I logged in, and being questioned about why I was online for 10 min after I dropped fleet....sounds like a bad case of paranoia. Also stop nitpicking about every little thing will you..you make out that I was afk in station 90% of the time. Maybe if you had logged in a bit more you might have noticed that I was online and fighting way more than you were. Maybe go back to farming LP and being leet instead of crying about what other people are doing. |
