Great idea, thank you. However this got me a new prooblem...
Discovery Probe I max velocity: 3.000 m/s and max flight time is 300 s
that would give me 900 km, but usually the warping to zero, moons are aprox. 5.000 km away. So how this work?
Quest Probe I max velocity: 3.000 m/s and max flight time 1.200 ss

no offence but what is the point of your reply without sharing it? Just because I asked if there is a way, does not mean I just wanted to know if there is one, of course I want to know how...

My ship can recloak in 5 s, but I am not sure if it is enough not to be targeted by POS defences so able to recloak. And surely did not wanted to risk and try... so would you be able to tell us the locking times and if you are able to recloak in 10 s? |

How come probe reaches moon but only have a max range of 900 km? I ask this because that would give me an idea of Quest Probe max range... Quest Probe I max velocity: 3.000 m/s and max flight time 1.200 ss You don't have to land on the surface to scan. Probes have a 1 au scan range. http://games.chruker.dk/eve_online/item.php?type_id=18635
Quote from there:
"The moon survey probe is launched in the direction of a nearby moon where it will eventually land and broadcast back atmospheric and soil analysis data."
This is so confusing...
So if they have 1AU scan range... why you need to shoot them directly to the moon, if you miss the moon, then probe fails.... Moreover above says, it WILL land... |

So with Discovery I could get results from 400.000 km, but not from a bit over 1.000.000 km...

Yeah, I know those, but after probing 3 systems (156 moons) they are pretty much useless. They are simply innacurate and contain false statements. So I wont look over those ever again.
