-Soo guys I'm failing to see were you are having issues with amarr bs's... Ive only flown amarr ship (sept my 2nd account who is mini) and hey I can say that my geddon is ill. i meen cmon i just fit it out with autocannos and good tank and mwd...yeah with ac's you can actually stand to use armr rep's and mwd it real cool try it youll love it.
-so ccp instead of hearing us all complain fix the lasers...you can just throw them away, really I doubt anyone will mind I meen they are pretty much the most lame-arse thing in the eve-universe. Anyone who claims that lasers are "good" cause of their "base damage" is a silly. Ill gladly fit them a geddon with lasers and fight em in mine with ac's. im 100% confident that yeah i could smoke them standing still... heck all I need to do is just let them shoot for a few minutes and their cap gone (no need for nos against amarr)
-ccp fix amarr give them a decent gun. or ill ace you in the test server!

So you fly an Amarr BS while using none of it's bonuses. Do you realize that an AC/siege Typhoon of Electron blaster-Domi or in fact just about any BS would eat you alive?
Lasers ar fines, it's the cristals and, in a lesser extend, amarr ships that ned some improvment...

Yes I know that I am geting no bonuses. but sadly enough the cap killers (lasers) are impossible to run with anything shy of a hardener.  anywho I can sadly do soo much more damage with ac's its sad. the rof bonus u get with energy turrets hurts u more than help. Your cap just goes down faster.  I love fighting sansha with lasers screen shows : 400, 500, 550, 350, 600, 650 for damage then the guy your in battle with you do: 1, 3, 2, 4, ohh snap excellent 6, -56, -199, -500...what my lasers are reparing him? 
-the issue is that lasers do too little damage and take entirely too much cpu, pg and *****your capacitor.

**** me, the Geddon is **** hot....its one of the generally accepted "good" Amarr T1 ships, and you go whacking Autos on it?
You're a nutter mate....no-one is going to take up your challange btw, as you will just uber tank EM/Therm as you know that is the only damage type you will be facing.
But hey....in the end its your ship and you can do whatever you want with it.

Rock what? sansha rats? thats about it...pvp in a geddon  Don't get me wrong I love amarr ships they are ill, I have spent 3/4 of a year only in amarr ships. I save the other ships for my 2nd account. But I have found they are terrible for pvp. they get owned by just about every ship out there. which is sad amarr used to be ill to no other end but nerf bats are fierce

Acs on a Geddon is sooo wrong in sooo many ways!
That said a corp mate likes to fit acs on a Thorax, and it seems to work for him too :)

Why would you ever use ACs on a Geddon when you could do the same on an Apoc? Seriously...wtf? At least with an Apoc you get:
 8 turret slots
Better fitting
At least one of the bonuses is useful
4 meds for more a smidge of ECM
The geddon is one of the worst candidates for using alternate weapons. It has relatively tight fitting and a potent laser bonus. What do you gain? 2 heavy drones...yay

LOL @ Gu o. You think all your ideas are amazing? Lol people have been playing for years now and you think CCP will chuck lasers out the window in one post with lousy backing? There are people in EVE with 5x more sp than you in just lasers alone. Im sure they would just LOVE to switch over to AC's now that months of training are useless...
The answer to fixing the problem isnt with throwing it away. Its fixing it. Of course Tux doesnt have the guts to fix things unlike TomB. TomB nerferd missiles a bit ago and it was much needed. Then Tux comes along and gives in to the Caldari whiners and 'fixes' missiles again.
The fix wont ever come because CCP refuses to believe its there. And even if they do know its there none of them have even looked twice at posts like this.

In case you haven noticed the other posts then ill try and fill you in on a non-biased opinion.
Lasers suck. Everyone knows it even when they try to dis-regard it. They only do 2 damage types taht are by far the most tanked damage in EVE history.
Basically crippling any hopes of Amarr being PvP'rs again.
(Unless all Amarrs prayers are answered and Tux gets fired and replaced by someone balanced.)

As much as I appreciate you supporting the laser/amarr buff campaign, overembelishing the point really won't help change anything.
