Have you seen, prooved / disprooved or know for a FACT that 2 AU speed (in real life) is not possible? Probably not ....
Anyway, my theory is that all theories in this world are WRONG... I mean think about it - we build a machine that does millions of calculations a second but it's built by HUMANS that make millions of mistakes a second .... We build our theories based on what WE BELIEVE, just because we can prove it using our OWN METHODS doesn't mean that it isn't possible.... to someone / something....
Who made the laws of physics - WE DID!
Who's to say they aren't wrong... we're known to be wrong in the past.....
Not 100 years ago - maybe more people would say the world is flat and if you sail too far to the edge of the world you fall off...
Anyway, that's what I think
BTW, this was posted by a human so based on my original theory, this theory is wrong
EDIT: How come thoery "tho ery" (without the space between) is censored lmao? Is it picking on me because im a bad speller?
First off, phisics that we study are not wrong they are just too basic to see the bigger picture. they focus on the most minor stuff. everyone believed sound barrier can not be overcome. well, as it turns out, it is quite possible. a whiplash tip travels at supersonic speed when it is put to use. thats an example fo how our physics state that something is impossible and tomorrow u get to see that law broken. so by saying FTP is impossible is like saying we are the only intelligent species in the entire universe. absurd. it was taught that anti-gravity is impossible but it is ! i have an experiment in the basement of my home proving antigrav drive is real ! its all in the magnetics and electromagnetics. Quote: Ok, I think IÆm safe to say we both agree that information can not travel faster than the speed of light. We most likely also agree that the speed of light is a constant and light moves away from you at the speed of light no matter how close to the speed of light you get. Those are both pretty basic concepts in current thinking about physics.
hmmm How can light keep distancing from you even if you are travelling at a higher speed ? basically what u are saying is that light can travel even faster ? but then you are contradictiong yourselves ! if light can travel even faster than it already does, then subluminal speed is possible. but when i say "subluminal" i mean c=299,792,458 m/s (in a vacuum). saying that it can travel faster considering you gained that speed, is exactly saying that c=indefinite. sound barrier was broken but it was believed it is phisically impossible. its like saying speed of sound is still before the jet plane even though it is travelling at supersonic speeds. once again, this is theory. theoretical application did not take place yet. so until then we can argue about it for a long time. Not traveling at a higher speed. if you are travelling at 99.9999% the speed of light light still moves away from you in all directions at the speed of light. I suggest you look up Maxwell's electromagnetic theory of light. It turned the traditional Newtonian worldview on it's ear in the 1880s. ----------------------------------------- Sig rented by Drethen Nerevitas. |

I would reply to your reply lola, but I wont because I would simply be reiterating my previous argument, and that would be redundant.
My argument stands as is.

Eh, I am not a physicist or anything, but if you start to approach the speed of light and your mass nears infinity, will you not start to curve the space infinitely around you, like a black hole or sumthin?

A few points.
Our postulates are based on our perception.
We cannot even INTERACT with 80% of the universe's mass. (another statement that might as well be wrong, as its made to make up for the fallacies of our models)
We attempt to 'define' things, to bring them into order, to limit them, so we can better relate them to our own limited existence.
EVERY theory will be eventualy replaced by a better one (assuming there are things/people left to formulate theories).
Formulating these theories is admirable, although as individual ends they are doomed in their conception, they serve a higher end.

We have what are classed as profesional programers making this game, what would we get if they were profesional physisicts.

MPH=MPS
and if you wanna get technichal..its not even c, its c
1 AU = 93,000,000 Mi Hence twice that (2AU) would be 186,000,000Mi, as stated
If you bothered to do the math yourself, you would see that it was correct, as Gigi Ana has confirmed.
Next time.. BE smart, don't TRY to look smart, but by judging the rest of your posts, I think THAT is a little out of your league as well.
c ya later
You're a joke.
