Anyone played this yet?
Got it on Sunday and completed it in 7 hours over 3 days. What a let down after the original long games that came out. IMO, not worth the money.
On the good side, the graphics were awesome and it ran well with every setting maxed even on a medium spec system.
There just wasn't enough of it and the game was over before I'd really got into it.

I think I may well but the HL2 episodes is 2s or 3s. Despite the fact that people have been complaining, most wouldn't have minded if they got twice the game for twice the price.

The episode itself was good, but I think the price for the amount of content you get is out. I think they should either drop price to ~$15 (~ú8) or increase the length by atleast 1 chapter.

How is that possible? It took me (and most other people I've asked) 2+ hours on medium dificulty, and that was killing everything that moved and exploring every area in the fullest.
Anyway, not enough of the game? Well yeah, that's becasue Valve have moved to episodic releases, smaller, but more frequent releases. Instead of making us wait until 2007/2008 for an expansion they're releasing 3 episodes instead, we've had one, two are left. The three make up the full expansion and will cost $60 together, 10% less if you pre-order each episode. It's not unreasonable at all.

I spent a bit of a time with the sniper and the APC at the station when trying to get the people across Also had a hell of a time trying to figure out how to stop the lift being smashed as we rode down to the reactor.
If it only took you 2+ hours then it makes the game even less value for money. And $60 for the full expansion is very unreasonable to me if they all take short that time to complete. 3 expansions for 2+ hours each, that's a total of 7+ hours total game play. That's a little under $10 per hour Valve really know how to rake it in.
