Why do people lie about having the ISK, then when you demand it, they fess up to not having it. It totally ruins my motivation to negotiate.

Now Kitty, people lie to protect themselves and to "aquire" things they couldnt normally get by regular means. (straps kitty's feet to the chair legs).....the straps around your ankles kitty ? purely for your own protection....we wouldnt want you falling off the chair now would we.......precioussss. But then lying is in some cases needed, such as in an attempt to get away......you need to use the bathroom? hohoho, almost had me there, see, you just tried to lie to me, that wasnt very nice, now was it ?

Imo it's fun when people lie, like when you ask for ransom, they say they don't have it of course so you keep shooting and they suddently remeber they have that 50mill stashed away in their wallet just as they hit structure

I will never ever ask for ransom again... i once had this barge in front of me (barge is minimum 4 million loot for the strips)
i had it down into structure and was orbiting it and asked for ransom just to be swarmed by drones... it almost killed my ceptor and i killed it finally with about 20% structure left.

Cyclone is only worth 20 odd mill. And the Pod Prolly wasn't worth anything.

Uh huh...
include insurance money, time lost, clone cost, lost implants - and if its T2, definitely factor in the pain in the ass of finding a new ship. Not to mention the difficulty of finding something like a barge or HAC to target and ransom from your part.
My rates:
BC: 12mil
tier1 BS/recon cruiser: 30mil
tier2 BS/HAC: 45mil
AF/inty: about 75% of cost

I think 15mil is a little too much for a BC. Seeing as alot of players get their BS after just 4 - 6 weeks of play they will probably have massed about 30 - 40 mil of total assets then.
Part in keeping this game the fun it is is not beating down the newer players too much. Later on when they DO have money and assets, THEN it will be fun meeting them in a war or fleet battle. Pirating and killing anything below a T1 battleship is not really worth it and on the edge of grieving if you ask me.
