I don't think that CCP has registered soon(tm) or soonÖ (alt+0153 fyi), cause otherwise it would be stated in the EULA, wouldn't it?

I highly doubt they trademarked the good old SoonÖ. You can't trademark a single work like that either IIRC anyways.

Edited by: Zomiaen on 28/06/2006 09:51:49 I think the real question here is, why were you on the WoW homepage......
On topic: I think you can trademark single words, but I doubt CCP would really bother trademarking soon..

It's just Blizztard theiving another thing, it may not be offically trademarked but i'm pretty sure Blizztard didn't think of it.
It must be nearly time for them to think of their own ideas instead of theiving. -------------------------------------------

Well, the owner of PhatFarm "owns" the rights to the word "phat."
Of course, it falls in to your argument because "phat" is not a word. --- --- --- ---

You've never heard of Monster, the audio cable producing company it would seem.

How is phat not a word?
It has a definition, and if you use it in a conversation, people will generally know what you mean.
'Yinz' is a word too, means the same thing as y'all or 'you all'. Pittsburghese ftw.

I read the explanation of soonÖ somewhere, but can't for the life of me remember think it came from some obscure past, and was just reinvited by CCP, but also by others.
