You know you havent cruised low sec belts enough: Listening to a CD, on came The Gypsy Kings "Hotel California" for those not in the know, spanish version of that song. Suddenly i felt the urge to pirate, it would go *perfectly* with that song.
Anyone here have favorite pirating music/albums/songs?

Dead silence. I want to hear that ship pop.
But to inspire myself outside of the actual work, I like to listen to Klaus Badelt's score for Pirates of the Caribbean. Probably the only Disney Movie that I can really like, until PotC II comes out (soon!).

Mainly soundtracks from fightsceens i got atm the matrix, battlestar gallatica,a few tracks from the Gundam wing collection, a bit of linkin Park and some euphoria mixed in to make a nice shuffle play list on my itunes for pvp'in. then i switch to a more mellow music playlist if i'm not pvp'in, or i go back to the jukebox in eve as it has some realy nice music imo.

You're evil .
Seriously though, some hardcore or breakbeat can be an excellent pre-battle motivator - Mars by Gustav Holst is also great to get you in the killing spirit. If its after the battle, or you're finishing off the night though, Jupiter by the same composer is a nice chiller.

Quote: Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me. We pillage, we plunder, we rifle, and loot, Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho. We kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot, Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me. We extort, we pilfer, we filch, and sack, Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho. Maraud and embezzle, and even high-jack, Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me. We kindle and char, inflame and ignite, Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho. We burn up the city, we're really a fright, Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
We're rascals, scoundrels, villans, and knaves, Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho. We're devils and black sheep, really bad eggs, Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me. We're beggars and blighters, ne'er-do-well cads, Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho. Aye, but we're loved by our mommies and dads, Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.

It varies. On days when I just want to blow people up, it's metal all the way. Groove metal, industrial metal, thrash metal. If it's brutal, it's in.
If I'm out ransoming, maybe I'll put on something lighter. Perhaps 30 Seconds to Mars or some other prog-rock stuff. Hell, even some swing or ska.
Busting up mining ops and generally wreaking havoc, it's gotta be ****in' punk rock.
Just cruising around, some chill hip hop. Sig removed, lacks Eve-related content - Cortes |

I like a deep, dark, brooding drum and bass set to get the mood just right.
I have a few favorites, but mostly just use winamp and search till I find someone spinning some of the darker tracks out there.
What I would like is the ability to push what im listening to through the speakers of the person who's pod I'm warpscrambling.
