Remember landing in a roid after a warp and being stucked in it ? Your ship became roid and you were able to fly this huge Veldspar roid.

when you could jump into a gateway 0.0 like kbp and everyone was there happily mining dark ochre and singing songs
or when depending which side of the system you warped from determined wether you ended up on the gate or 40km away from the gate, aslong as you warped from the top of the solar system map, to a gate at the bottom it was pretty much and insta jump

When he was killed by Concord because when he was ratting in empire one of his missiles hit a Cop that wondered in front of a missile. This put me off Misiles for the time I spent in Hich Sec

The first couple of days after castor was it??? cant remember when they first introduced bs into belts and there was like 4 mwd megathrons , 7+ cruisers and a few frigs in a belt<---and that wasnt even officer spawn.

... he complains about once getting podded by npcs (splash dmg from missiles)
... he talks about the bug where a pilots name wouldn't appear at the ship after jumping
... he whines about sec rating not repairing itself and having lost 50% of all his faction standings after grinding lvl 3 agents without proper missions.

ahaha. one of my favorite stories:
shortly after getting my first battleship, a scorpion, i ended up in my first large fleet battle in whatever system leads into khanid from wherever you come when you're coming from curse. some guy was fleeing and i was trying to get all my torps on him and clicking away and somehow i managed to click my pod out of my ship. and then my pod got splashed by a torp. one of my torps. so, i podded myself and my ship was floating around in space and my clone was like 25 jumps out.
thankfully someone grabbed my ship and moved it to a moon.
oh, the old days! |

when nOOb corps were exactly that and not something to laugh at because of all the alts nowadays , people actually wanted to help you.
when going into low-sec wasn't always filled with pirates but with helpful carebears that let you take Kernite from there jet can in your probe while they mined in Battleships .

when torpedos cost 7k each , doing lvl 3's in a Torp Rupture was expensive.....
when the requirement to use Miner II's was Mining lvl 2 , god knows how I know that

If you tryed to run the Mara gate while Lord Zap and Stavros where gate camping .... with 1000s of cans spread around :)

You must mean:
When there were no Battleship NPCs, and 50k cruiser rats could only be found on the outer fringes of 0.0 space.
... and you killed them in (any battleship) fitted with Tachyons, because all the other long range turrets sucked so badly.

Afraid not, thats the old castor UI and even if there was a way to mod back to it you could get banned for client modding .. but switching between high/med/low was kinda annoying anyway.
