I can't play EvE today, so thought I'd leave a question here: What's your current goal in game?
I know that everyone is playing to have fun, but is there something you are working for?
Are you saving up ISK? Working like a slave for something? The new shiny T2 ship? The skill training?
Building your empire? Finding that juicy trade?
Or are there goals you've just accomplished that you'd like to tell us?
Please share your thoughts.
My goal? To train the skills to fly most ships, and to make 1b ISK!

My goal is to finish getting my Brutix to L3 mission spec so I can finally get enough gunnery to lay waste in my Taranis. ^_^

To break 100mil isk again, been awhile since I've been that high - nailed a Typhoon with the group for 53mil in loot last night though, so that helped  .

That's a short term goal? Wow. What are your long term goals?
My short term goal, get myself into an Assault Frig. After that, get all my advanced learning skills to lvl 4. Not sure about after that.

My short-term goal is to run enough missions for Minmatar to get my Minmatar and Gallente standings positive again. It's gonna be so rawk to run level threes in a Cyclone.

My short term goal is the one I'm currently training for, to fly a mining barge. I'm a few days away from Industry 5 then 3 & 4 on Astrogeology and then I need to get mining barge 3.
Doesn't seem that short term to me atm but mining is a good isk maker and my corp does seem to like to mine (good job I enjoy it, I just stare at local and shout on TS when a green dot appears and it's all hands to PvP ships)
Oops, I seem to have rambled a bit there but I'm knackered and need to goto bed

Short term? Move my Megathron into 0.0, get a T1 sniper setup on it and start using it on Alliance ops.
Medium term? Get Science V and a research agent. Try all non-Amarr T1 ship classes, especially the Raven, Ferox and Tempest.
Long term? Improve my PvP. Pick a line of weaponary and take it up to T2 large.

Close to mine.
* Get to Assault Frigate
* Get Cruiser IV, Astrogeology IV, and Minmatar Industrial IV (all 3 now)
* Get advanced Learning to IV
After that, who knows. Somewhere in there, get 8.0 standing with Brutor Tribe, and maybe do all L2 missions in a Rifter with no warp-outs.

To finish jump drive op 5 so I can train jump calibration and not have to do 5462 separate jumps every time I want to move my dread.
Oh, and that's another 27 days for jump drive op 5. Then another week for jump calibration from scratch to 4 and I can go back to training fun skills again. I'm sick of month-long level 5's!
That's the drawback to being a "vet": it takes forever to train skills, since you're usually training level 5 prereqs for various ships and modules.
Anyway, that's my ShortÖ term goal.

Incidentally guys, is there no way to search these forums on topic or charname? Also, how do I get my portrait/avatar to show up like so many of you have? Not to mention I'd like an email reminder when a thread I'm involved in gets a new post or similar...

Search is in the top-right corner of the page. Portraits can take up to a few months to show up - nothing you can do about it. There is no thread subscription that I know of.

isn't available there, but I have seen a sticky posts that get pretty close to it. So I suggest you look for that.
Well my short time plan? Getting my drone skills up to lvl 4-5 (2 months)
Medium plan: getting the gallente BS skill up to 4 (Dominix, see above why :P)
Long term: getting a carrier!

chribbas eve-search Does all of these things for you.
You might have to wait a long time for your forum portrait, I know folks who are three months old and still haven't been rendered.

Im more of a deck builder. I went to MtG tournaments not to win but to have a reason to think about tweaking my deck a little more. If I won in the process of prosuing the best deck possible then so be it.
Im currently investigating the best T1 frig and setup for PvE in low sec with every module having no more worth then 100,000isk.

Figure out a way to make as much isk as possible in the least amount of time that doesnt involve long boring grinding sessions like mining or mission running. All that comes to mind is, stocking up on ice and sell it in a year or two when the prices are phenomenally expensive, gate camping, suicide ganking, or robbing level 4 mission runners loot.

Short Term: Get my standing up with Federal Intelligence Agency to get to level 3 missions
Medium Term: Set up a Vexor and a Thorax and see which one I like better for PvP
Long Term: Put together a Brutix and have all sorts of, um, fun

If my experiment in corporate investment pays off, I'll be all kinds of sorted this way.^^^
My short term EVE goal is getting the rest of the Corp to agree on short & long term goals.
Mid term is to get enough passive income to not have to worry about losing t2 ships.

im saving up for a raven and whilst im doing that I'm training up my shield and missile skills. The aim being, to be able to rat solo when i need to in 0.0 and take on any spawn. That's the short term goal. Once I can do that, the money will come in and I can start some manufacturing and take it from there.
