Good day
I am just getting my feet wet and have a question about how one gets other corporations to allow them to do some missions. I started in one sector of the universe and a couple of my friends who started with me were in another, so I have moved there.
It seems nobody I talk to will give me a mission b/c I dont have a reference. These are even Lv 1, 0 quality type persons from what I can tell. Any suggestions? Looking for more of a security/kill mission, but obviously if i cant get those basically trying to stick with corps in this area.

look up the corp you used to do work for....... select the agents tab and see if they have any near you...
failing that, you could always do the training agent your freinds have done and get the faction boost at the end of it to start you off on their agents....

and train Connections
and did you use the map, display settings=My Agents to see graphically where there is the closest agent who will talk to you?

Most likely if you can't talk to Level 1 Quality 0 Agents it is because you have a negitive standing with the faction where you have moved to.
If you have a negitive faction standing with the faction of corp you where want work, you will need to train Deplomacy as well as Connections. Diplomacy will boost your standing until you run enough missions to get your faction standing up. Once you get your faction standing to be positive, Connections will help boost your standing and Diplomacy will no longer apply.
To find an agent that you can work for look up the corp that you want to work for in people and places. Right click on the corp and choose Show Info, select the agents tab, this will list all the agents that are available to you.

Thanks for the help - I did indeed have a negative standing with certain factions in this region from the previous missions i did.
Got it ironed out
