1. Deimos vs Ishtar - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Well the Ishtar's drone bay does beat the heck out of the Myrmidon's, just to be fair. And if you're not a drone specialist you shouldn't even be talking about these ships.

2. Deimos vs Ishtar - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Ishtar is probably better than Myrmidon. But is it better than five Myrmidons? That's the real question. And if when I lose those five Myrmidons I can buy five more because they were insured for full value, and I can buy a Vexor with the insurance...

3. Is there a non-PvP alliance - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I must have a reading skills problem. I'm looking at the OP and I don't see anywhere that it says anything at all about wanting to be in 0.0. Not one word. Why did we all have to go off arguing about that? Stefx, the alliance I belong to pretty...

4. Starting question - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Personally, I basically never mined. You can start right out by doing missions and by shooting the NPC rats in high security level belts - which is a good low risk way to test and see if your ship and your understanding of tactics is right before...

5. Newb needs help for level 2 missions... - in Missions & Complexes [original thread]
Edited by: Prant on 03/05/2007 06:07:45 That's a reasonable setup. I'd probably use a pretty different one actually. You might like to experiment a bit between our two approaches and see what is best for you. Level twos are still almost all ...

6. Quick drone question - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
They probably do it this way because of guns. There you have the base damage on the ammo and the damage modifier on the gun, so there is a reason for the formula to combine two separate values. Probably just extended the same logic to drones to b...

7. Countering drones? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I think your Thrasher is just not a very survivable ship for doing what you were doing. You don't tell us what the other ship was but I think you were gonna die. That said, target individually and you should have been able to kill some drones pre...

8. Identifying incoming damaga type - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Speaking for myself, I have no problem at all about people playing WOW. For some reason, what really gets under my skin - and I think I might not be alone - is all the people who come to this game and just presume that it should work the same as ...

9. What happens to your drones if-? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Abandoned drones are permanent, they do not disappear at dt or anytime ever. You can occasionally stumble across some drones in deep space that someone has abandoned doing a mission or something. Very rarely they may even be worth the price of the...

10. Scanning Secure Containers - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I'm pretty certain you cant find containers with probes. Sorry, too bad for you. On the other hand - if you think about it I imagine that's about the only way your containers and the spots they are in were ever going to be safe in low sec system...

13. Courier Caracal set up for surviving gate camps?.. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
OK, webbers simply reduce ship speed by the stated percentage - no matter what you are using to get your ship the speed it has, that speed will just be reduced by the webber's percentage. So, yeah, AB, MWD, nanos, overdrives, your skills, whatever...

15. Empire Space - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Well, I think "empire" can only mean one thing, and that would be that one of the empire NPC factions has sovereignty. But you're right, there's a second definition that people are using.

16. Missions - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
