I read this article today and noticed that it is now going to cost me 4x as much to run a large POS then it did before the patch? Is this correct?

No, you're propably making the common mistake of multiplying the cost by four, since you didn't notice you build 4 blocks/batch of materials. |

I am currently running a large POS which requires the same amount of fuel now that it would take to make 1 block. With this switch over, it will now require 4 blocks. |

If that was the case, you would see forum fire. Do you see forum fire?! No!?
Then you probably misplaced a number somewhere on your math =) Rated ARG for Pirates. **** you. |

Yes it will require 4 blocks per hour, that is one batch. |

My fault, I missed that on my calculations. I thought the BP was going to run a batch of 1. Thank You |

actually it will require 40 blocks per hour, but that is still one batch. if you learn to read - people told you in this thread and you still repeated the wrong information.
(they multiplied the block count and reduced its size by a factor of 10 so they could put Sov and Faction tower bonuses back in) MM Bombers, Best Bombers |

Its weird and kinda creepy. |

Confirming this.
The fuel block bpo produced 40 blocks which runs a large tower for 1 hour. |

I'm looking forward to having "Purina POS Pellets". It's gonna be so much less of a pain to haul 1 thing instead of 8. |

Yes, perhaps in time we will adapt.
