Heres the long awaited post!
Lets Av It Large! Myself and Shin Ra have arranged a party to end all gaming partys, details are:
Date: Saturday 2nd September 2006 (provisional 99% confirmed)
Location: play in nullLONDON
Time: 9pm to 4am
Price: FREE OF COURSE
Capacity: 250
Restrictions: Over 18 - ID required for Bar
This is a private function therefore the facility will only be attended by Eve Gamers! Please post whether u intend to bring a guest.
We will have a selection of the finest UK DJ's playing throughout the evening covering a variety of genres, Shin is arranging an eve challenge (more details to follow) with some great prizes!, dancers, its a knock-out games!
Late license til 4am
Please post here should u wish to be a part of the fun! A list of attendees will be created. We need a minimum of 200 to ensure that this party can be offered free of charge!

The final numbers will determine whether we have the opportunity to host over 1 or 2 floors. At the moment until that is confirmed, im only paying the deposit for the one floor! just in case!

I'll be flying down from Prestwick and I hate having to sort out accomodation in London, so I'm thinking I can just about manage an all nighter if I book an early flight back home since the first express train back to Stansted from Liverpool Street leaves at 4.30am.

Your correct, Liverpool Street is a maximum of a 15 minute walk from the venue, if you need it, here is a local "travel Inn" type place also just down the road (10 mins walking) I have no idea how much they charge though

Either's good for me, although I suspect it'll be easier if I just remember to have my drivers license stuffed in a pocket somewhere :)

Stick with your original hotel, the 2 venues are only 3/4 minutes away from each other.
Tube stations: (Barbican / Farringdon within 6/7 minutes walk) both of these use the Circle, Hammersmith & City & Metropolitan Lines which all go to Liverpool Street or Kings Cross (and beyond of course) or Angel (10 minutes) which is on the Northern Line and goes to Kings Cross.

Slimelight pays next to nothing though, ú15 an hour. Every other club I DJ at pays between ú20 and ú60 an hour. However, I don't really do it for the money, and if I DJ at Slimelight it's usually because I was going anyway and it keeps me out of trouble for a while.
And don't mention Exotic Dancers Club.

This is a pretty last minute thing, so apologies in advance, but if you do happen to turn up the day before and are at a looe end. We are going for a few beers around covent garden, I cannot guarentee you will get in or anything along those lines but your very welcome. We are starting at the Porter House on Maiden Lane (good beer) and will rock around a bit, probably something touristy sports bar, browns, something like that.
Anyway we will start from 18:30 GMT, I will be wearing a dark grey DSL Tshirt, will be great if you can make it.
Backup pub, which is on the same road is the Maple leaf, try not to wear anything to eve related, some people can be so fussy, and it is not booked

Looking at the fabriclondon.com ticket site it says "TICKETHOLDERS ARE REMINDED TO ARRIVE BEFORE 1AM TO GAIN PRIORITY ENTRY/QUEUE JUMP INTO THE CLUB.", The EVE do finishes at 1am doesn't it? Are people leaving beforehand to go to fabric, if so then I'll get one.

Just got back from a good night, went to a few bars around islington, then ended up in the carling academy, was a bit of an emo club but it was ok, and the drinks were faiy cheap.
looking forward to tomorrow night (well tonight actually lol) not sure about fabric tho spoke to a few peeps about it tonight and heard a mix of opinions, if you cant get in with jeans and trainers i dont think im gonna go.

Hi everyone,
First off what a fantastic night, a big thank you to Tityana for organising this event, you are a rock star and you come with Daisy Duke legs too, fantastic ha ha. I hope the whip round we did at the end covered your deposit loss, only ú150 short of reaching the minimum behind the bar too, nightmare.
Got to meet some old faces and new ones as well as the chance to buy DJ Xyliana a drink to say thanks for doing EVE TV, can't imagine what that took. Didn't make it to fabric in the end as somethign I ate at kunchtime didn't make me feel too good. :( I am suprised that less people seemed to turn up than they said they would, you missed a good evening people. Shouts out to the rest of the guys in BDCI/MC current and ex, ex Huzzah and Angry Sheep, Diannabolic who is a complete nutter, the CVA guys, Grim, Avon, English BoB and all the ex FIX guys who didn't pod me after all ha ha.
Look forward to seeing you at the fanfest or the next London meet, party on!!!!

I was so wasted by the end... The other CVA guys got me in a taxi and gave the cab driver general directions. I promptly fell asleep only to be woken up 30 mins later as they no one knew my address.
My waking words were 'Where are we?'
After much ****taking I actually organised my thoughts and was able to guide the poor taxi driver the rest of the way.
Anyway was a great night
First thanks to the lovely ladies who made the evening so special
Tityana, Lacrimae, Xyliana, Isolde and the others whose names I cant remember
Second was great as usual to chat to Seleene. It was also fun swapping memories of early Huzzah with Mr Hans Roaming. Fitzeh, Stizum Hildi were good chaps. Obviously the CVA guys rocked - especially Red who purchased us 3 bottles of champagne which we used to toast the Empire and a variety of other things and Ethidium who started buying me Tequila slammers.
I even met the pirate types Hanns and Avon who I have to say are a lot more cuddly in real life (Not that I cuddled em mind you).
Talked to many others over the course of the night so if I have forgotten you its due to old age and excessive alcohol...
Anyway my head hurts...
ps. did anyone pick up an old Olympus digital camera - as I think I left mine

shame about the lack of response after so many people saying they were showing up and didnt but was easier access to the bar because of it

Had to catch the last train home due to running out of ú otherwise i would have gone to fabric.
Great to see some new faces down there aswell as the usual suspects.
Had a right laugh chatting to EnglishBoB and Scorps about our recent fights, and meeting other people and prolly talking utter crap absolutley hammered.

Great night out met a lot of cool guys/gals and learn a lot of inside info on corps (shame on you for spilling all your secrets while drunk). Dancing' pete and his band of merry men were funny as hell thanx for making me laugh cider out my nose. The Quam guys were cool great bunch to talk 2, I met a guy that told me I was the first person to ever kill him about three years ago (talk about holding a grudge) made me laugh my ass off hope to talk to you all in game soon until then have fun....o yea Enkin hope you find a corp soon and last night meetign some of the eve player base makes you want to play even more. fly safe!

Had an absolute blast, thanks for arranging it Tityana. Is great to put faces to the names of people who'll be podding me in the future - carebears excluded of course. Special greetings to the FLA guys who turned up - great to meet some of the lunatics I fly with.
Took a ton of photos too - but somehow managed to lose my camera on the way home :(. Thanks to those who weren't so careless and managed to post the hideous high-res gory details.

Great fun. I drank too much and a combination of this and ****ty public transport at 2am (Damn TFL!) meant it took me 3 hours on public transport to do what is a 1.5 hour walk from Clerkenwell! Gibber. I also met 'interesting' people on the 25. Again.
Also: World Class, Naliana, world class. ****ed in a gutter in London? Despite not meeting you, I'm still proud of you! Keep up the good work.

Just a quick thanks to those that attended and for those that organised the event.
Arrived with my mate Stigster friday night, met up with and got ****ed with Chowdown and Illmonstre, was great fun, especially finally meeting Chowdown after all the years of TS and playing Eve in the same alliance (Ca and The Five and currently LV).
Saturday met up with 7 other of my corp mates, PK blinder, Enchantres ( Pink hair and all) nyteshade (chains and all) garmine, Zafon, and my CEO Gunship. It's always special meeting fellow corp members face to face.
Saturday evening met various old names in the game particularly old enemies from the CA days bUBbLeS and Fit'zeh to name a few.
Also meeting Stizum Hilidii, one of the craziest FC's I've ever flown with, and Aeti was great.
A big shout to others I met, Implanted, Khael, Nubian Illmonstre, Quam guys, Lacrimae, and Illmonstre. Apologies to anyone I missed.
All in all a fantastic weekend, am now saving for Beer money for the Copenhagen meet and then possibly the Iceland meet. Hope to see more and meet more members the next time round.
I'm also glad the young guy (goggles boy we called him :))that looked seriously smashed and ill made it home alive, nice touch with the Goggles by the way.

Did anyone by any chance pick up a battered three year old Olympus digital camera similar to the silver one on the right in the image below.
To be honest I could do with a new camera as the old one was getting past its sell by date, so not too worried about it apart from the fact that I need some of the work related pictures that are on it - and no there isn't any ****o on it

Yeah just got back. Awesome night guys - now we know the ISS dude survived (we were worried for ya, but the drunken haze meant we didn't think about it until we got back to the hotel) the main casualty of the night seems to be my mobile phone. Great catching up with all you dudes again - top entertainment the lot of ya!
And yeah, the g/f forgave me dragging her to an eve meet - she ended up thoroughly enjoying herself - now i gotta persuade her to get ingame :)

I was there for about 6:30 with the rest of the CVA guys and next time I blinked it was 1 am and we were getting kicked out. Time went so fast but that means I had a *****ing time. Thanks to Redwolf for buying all the champagne. Great to meet.. well whoever I met.. too many to remember lol. Cant wait till next time.

Wont be suggesting that venue again but i am already eyeing up another one close by for the next insane gathering! :)
Perhaps if these become a semi frequent occurrance, it would be nice if we rotated it around a few different major cities.. watch this space!

Damn! DAMN IT ALL TO HELL! Envy now has a picture of ME beside it if you look it up!
It sounds and looks like a Megathron worth of fun! And champagne... awwwwwWWW!
I know I will feel better once I touch down on Iceland since that was the I choice made.
I just have to make up for this on FF I guess.
I dont quite understand but did the venue charge Tityana for not enough people showing or what?

Well, due to the numbers posted here for attendance i had to take a larger venue so that it was comfortable for all, unfortunately we didnt quite hit the numbers posted so it was difficult to cover the bar quota we were set to ensure that the booking fee was refunded. Nevermind, we still had awesome fun and thats all the really matters!
Next time i will stress more heavily the importance of posting attendances / withdrawals on the thread :)
