I'm asking because I've never created an alt before... (for me it would interfere with immersion in EVE universe). But recently I thought of setting up a trading alt (same account), and grant him a "power of attorney" to execute trades on my behalf. That would mean transferring ISK and items back and forth.
Is it OK with CCP? What about roleplaying? OK or not? |

I think there is some "blurring" of what and "alt" is. There are to types of "alts".
a) 1 account can have up to 3 characters or "alts". These characters can not train skills or be played at the same time, but otherwise are not related.
b) 2 accounts with up to 3 characters on each account. So the main character for each account are not related at all other than being owned by the same player. You can train skills independant of each other.
You pay another monthly fee to CCP for this of course, but you can play both at the same time if you have a second computer.
So some of the beneifts listed only work with option b) because it is a completly different account entirely.

Yes, you merely create an escrow for your alt to pick-up. Since I build up loot inventory at my current mission-running station, I escrow the loot for my brother, the businessman, to pick up on his weekly hauler runs for his own mission loot and resources. We like to keep an orderly interface...er...inventory.
