Who here feels that market trading is the best way to make more isk when you have billions to invest? Truth eludes he who does not seek it both eyes wide. |

Market trading is defiantly the worse way to make more isk when you have billions to invest.
I recommend flying in a pod to every known station to get your free 1 tritanium when you dock. Easiest isk there is. |

It's the only real isk doubling game.
You can be your own scammer and brag about it later, here...
Go for regional buy orders above all others and is 100% win, guarantee. Market manipulation is another option, buy everything in the trade hubs and let the people panic.

Saw a few items that are quite well traded I could easily buy all the sell orders of but seems rather risky to me/ Truth eludes he who does not seek it both eyes wide. |

What other ways are there to invest ISK? You can lend it to other people, but they will invariably be using it to trade, or you can purchase PVE ships or characters and get an evening job. That's trade, lend or PVE off of the top of my head, naturally lending will offer less profit than trading yourself with the benefit of requiring only a few minutes of your time per loan. PVE as I alluded to is time consuming and low paying compared to trading. .

Well in a sense pve is also trade..You trade the ammo you shoot for the bounty the rat has on it's head ...

This isn't a real question. Market trading? Versus what? Cap production? Billions just means liquidity. What form is this 'billions' in? Assets? Plex? Isk? I would close all the lose ends with this question, but I don't feel like knitting a quilt. |

Edit: Oh yes, there's scamming too. On the low-end it's very time consuming and there's lots of disappointment when you find people that just aren't quite stupid enough to hand over their money, but it doesn't require a lot else, or if it does need some ISK then you probably aren't risking it.
It's hard to put your capital to work scamming. If you have less than a billion, scamming is definitely the most profitable thing you can do, but once you have a few tens of billions behind you, it is a lot harder to scale up your scamming income. https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=346564 - a proposal to overhaul the Logistics skill https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=238931 - an idea for a new form of hybrid PVE/PVP content. www.minerbumping.com - ganking miners and causing chaos |

Trading probably yes, not necessarily market trading (as in: buying an selling stuff from the in-game market). You can trade characters, for example.
Anyway, I'd argue trading in general is the most efortless activity if you know what your doing: you can buy something worth billions with a couple of mouse clicks, and sell it with another mouse click or two. On the contrary, supercap production, for example, requires much more effort (if you're the one managing most of the process).
I'd also argue it's the most scalable activity: you can (almost) just as easily buy and sell 1 million worth of stuff than 1 or 100 billion worth. EVE Online: Death-o-meter |

This isn't true.
I could very easily buy meta 4 warp scramblers (outside hubs) for 2m and resell them where they are for 2.7m.
Try getting margins and turnover like that on an item that's 200m/270m. https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=346564 - a proposal to overhaul the Logistics skill https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=238931 - an idea for a new form of hybrid PVE/PVP content. www.minerbumping.com - ganking miners and causing chaos |
