I have not long built a new Athon 64 system, and have been playing EVE fine on it until the last patch, which seemed to have an adverse reaction to exiting the game at my request.
Now i understand CCP want us playing longer...but this is happening every time i exit the game. Doesn't happen on my work PC, another Athlon 64, or the wife's PC which is a Sempron system.
Every exist gives a black screen with a white window named CCP Blue Framework. When you ask for details before the option of sending an error to MS, it just gives a memory address and the file TRINITY.DLL, which i assume is the GFX/game engine file used in EVE. Drivers for my Nvidia 7600GT are the latest from Nvidia and no other game exhibit problems.

Ok will do, but one thing of note, my office PC is an ATI Sapphire Radeon X300SE, which maybe a factor.

I am also having the same problem. I have a petition open for over a week now. The only response I've gotten is please run a memory test. Any progress on this issue?

Are you guys sure you aren't running Windows Vista (the Beta)? The only reference I have seen to "Blue Framework" has been in regards to the Vista Beta going around. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I just had a connection lost shortly after entering a mission and when it dropped to desktop, windows was asking me to unblock CCP Blue Framework. This is a new thing I take it?

There are another 4 threads all relating to the ccp blue issue. I know of 14 people who have the same issue. There are a few player recommended fixes but none yet have worked for me. Hope the dev team fix soon. Day 3 without eve

***A FIX*** I just read in another thread about the new EVE Voice system, then remembered someone in IAC mentioning that IAC as an Alliance would be testing it. The other thread said to edit prefs.ini and add this voiceenabled=0 to the bottom line of prefs.ini, seems to have worked for me. my bet is because my alliance is testing it it has installed something on my system thats gone **** up. nice CCP, its your voice program, take it back to beta please.

Thats wierd, I have 2 accounts in seperate directories, one is non IAC and that was fine, my main in IAC had the problem, i tried deleting the one directory and copying a whole new one, that didnt help, but when i added that line to prefs.ini it was fine (however i didnt use it for long) but yea the time frame is about the same for me as well (20:00 eve time)

I tried all those things to... Reinstall of eve, New folder, prefs.ini, completely disabeling the sound....
The wierd thing is i had read its IAC members only. Uberpipo is IAC and Ubertroela isnt. I get the same error on both accounts. Its also not PC related as i get the same error on two completely seperate pc's. One is a Pentium 4 2.6 HT with a sus P4B motherboard with SB audigy and a X1600PRO and the second is a E6600 with a Asus commander MB and 8800GTX.
Its really starting to **** me off. I want to EVE.
Have the Devs seen this problem??? please i want a fix...

CCP Blue Framework is encountering a problem and needs to close. The error screen pops up on loogin to game, preventing me from completing login. Occasionally, login completes but game crashes shortly after login. The error occurred most immediately when ventrillo is running, and after closing vent AND rebooting then I eventually logged into game yesterday. Today, I didn't start with ventrillo open and I'm getting the same problem.
ALthough it was possible yesterday to eventually log in, I haven't been successful yet today after several attempts.
Should I assume repeatedly bringing up the error screen isn't good for the client and just stay offline until you issue a solution?
This same problem happens on both my IAC accounts.
CCP, please give us a solution?

When you add that line to prefs.ini for those with "this" specific error that it did not work for, humour me a second, go back to prefs.ini and that line, go to the end of the line and press enter and save, yea yea i know, just try it please, gl :)

Somewhere between the third and tenth attempt to log in seems to work, but this is getting really old.
Log In, Load Character, Enter ... then, immediate CCP problem box:
CCP Blue Framework has encountered a problem and needs to close.
BOOM - MicroSoft Error Reporting Box and no client.
Due to no similar posts, perhaps I should just assume it's my computer. Even though I never ever had this problem prior to this audio beta release.
Or, perhaps Bill Gates released a new version of windows to replace WIndows XP. I remember the same **** happening on my older computers every time a new version of windows comes out. Every time I typed in something special to solve one problem, it created two new problems. I didn't sign up to be a beta tester... I don't have time for it.

lastnight my eve started crashing as i was logging in on 2 of my PCs (1x vista mome premium x64, 1x vista business x86
afte seeing this thread i put voiceenabled=0 in my prefs.ini on my vista x86 PC (the other is at home so cant test) and it now works. i must have been voice enabled lastnight...
both PCs are completely different spec hardware (well, ome runs an audiology 2ZS, 1 runs an audiology 1) could we have a general vista problem?

Edited by: Grez on 09/03/2007 15:40:35 Edited by: Grez on 09/03/2007 15:40:16 Afaik, it only happens to players who have EVEVoice enabled on their accounts. Chances are someone at IAC (up the ladder), asked for the entire alliance to get it for the stress test, resulting in those with a machine that can't use it, trying to use it, and crashing (only a guess).
Try doing what Sharky said and doing a bugreport including the Vivox diagnostic program results.

Ok, I did this and it worked:
"To avoid the DEP shutting down Blue Framework try this: In C:\CCP\EVE\bin - move the three files Vxc.dll, VxPortManager.dll and VxRTCCore.dll to e.g your desktop when reaching character selection. You can put them back in when you're logged all the way in. It works in Vista Home Premium..."
However I lost my local, corp and alliance chat channels and can't get them back.

Edited by: Bluebear8 on 13/03/2007 01:09:20 Yeah, Mintaric. That's why I don't try messing with that stuff. IMHO, either the game works on Windows XP, or it doesn't. At the moment, it's not working properly.
Trying to log in under these conditions is like trying to push a square peg into a round hole. Times two for two accounts to "log in".
btw, this error does not show "trinity.dll" or anything like that. It's just a BLUEFRAMEWORK PROBLEM ...
