Recent actions in the North have led to a state of confusion. Many previous friends have become enemies, and there is chaos on all sides. The SPARTA Alliance recently announced we were aligning ourselves with the Northern Freedom Coalition.
In the light of today's events, and all the friendly fire incidents SPARTA has decided to reverse its position and declare a state of neutrality. Having friends on both sides of this conflict deeply saddens us.
The necessity of these events cannot be questioned. SPARTA will be maintaining a vigorous defense of the D-AWFI Constellation. We will not allow any of the conflicting parties to base out of D-AWFI.

As confusing as this is getting politically .. Sparta was born in Fade and our loyalty is to the D2(G) Alliance as it has been since day 1 . This loyalty extends to include those who are also aligned with them.
I hope all parties involved understand our decisions to revert to neutrality as we refuse to engage friends ..
Please respect our soverienty and keep the fighting out of D-AWFI ..

I'm an unbiased observer in all of this, just wanted to say one thing. Be careful when you draw conclusions as to what the 'real reason' is for Spartas current actions. If it is due to talks you have had with Sparta themselves, that is one thing; if it is the 'common sense' answer that has been formed from internal talk, it's surprising how often it turns out to be wrong.

if you ask me (that means its my personal oppinion)
you are either with us or against us, youre not alone who had to pop guys who are/were friends, but this is war.
such "neutralities" can bite me personally, but alliances and corps MUST have balls to make hard decisions and stand firm, such as DSL in CORE (now they will be booted from core afaik, but thats just another example of firm stance that I respect).
neutrality is no stance.
Neutrals are shot in deklein.
Neutrals do not deserve positive standings.
thats my reasoning why you should be shot (MY REASONING)
I dont know official response to this so I express my oppinion.

The official response from NFC is that Sparta will always be welcomed and regarded as friendly by NFC. I think nothing less of Sparta for this decision. Had I been in their position, I would have made exactly the same choice. We hope to be flying with Sparta again soon. Until then, fly safe o/

We gave all CORE corps the opportunity to take whichever direction they choose to take with no strings dislike or hard feelings. Its up to them if they stay or go. THEIR CHOICE you read me?
We are not kicking any corps out of CORE. so stop spreading that crap.

Bonny think you selected the wrong character to post with? Or perhaps you don't have the ******* to post with your main. Or perhaps Bonny is your main, in which case 6 months in a n00b corp gives you no opinion on what goes on in 0.0 because everyone will shoot you.

So you respect Firm Positions and decisions, then you have nothing but to respect the position of that collective boot in your hindquarters....
Also, as Sypher stated, you are misinformed, please, until you are a member of CORE. and have a true understanding of how we operate (never gonna happen btw) keep your small minded and uninformed comments to yourself.
As for Neutral stances in war's involving two groups of friends... Fine by me.... Good Luck Sparta...

My apology for the late reply, but sadly I have a different life to attend to, if only rarely and briefly.
The FLA obviously welcome your decision, as we have never entertained any bad feelings towards Sparta. We hope and expect to continue to enjoy a friendly and productive relationship when the last page of the current dime novel is written. Whatever the outcome, we hope Sparta will continue to prosper.

Then your source is wrong.
FREE Explorer is very close with venture. We know what CORE is and why they formed it. Anyone in there is free to join and leave of their own volition, and venture will not kick anyone from it. Corp that leave because of the conflict are welcome to go back at any time.
I can feed you correct info on the goings ons with CORE if you're really that interested in it. The alliance itself is really quite inconsequential. The corps within still control their own way 100%.

Turq (and the NFC) should know how quickly situations can change.
Yesterdays miners and "guests" are todays owners of stations and outposts....for now!
And so if DSL change there mind and decide to stay in CORE. they can do so...unlike your current situation where you dont have a choice.
