Since I started this game, I have always played EVE in full screen. Recently, someone mentioned that most play it in window mode. I have tried it, in order to see who is speaking on TS, but have not been able to find a resolution for the game so that I can actually see the whole screen and part of TS.
So, I was wondering if any of you could post an actual screenshot of your setup or tell me what resolution you are using (and what monitor size) whilst you play in window mode. It gets a bit annoying having to minimize Eve everytime I want to access Firefox out of game and/or use TeamSpeak.

my normal screen resolution is 1600x1200 (21inch) and eve is in 1024x768

My recommendation is to go back to full screen and figure out something else wrt/ts, like a second monitor. But that's me, and I run eve at a higher resolution than I run windows anyway.
I've actually found that Eve's performance drops a lot in windowed mode, but AFAIK that is fairly unique to my machine.

I play in windowed mode so i can use my 2nd monitor to chat to people on msn, and search the forums.

I use my screen's resolution for eve, but run this in the background.
works brilliantly.

I purchases a Logitech G-15 keyboard. Now I can fire all my turrets with a single key, and I can see TS info on the LCD. Not to mention I love the blue backlight. Will probably work on getting a second monitor next though. The idea of being able to access the web and other info without having to hit the windows key to toggle back and forth is a bit alluring.

I run full screen all the time, it gives a much higher frame rate. I also have a second monitor which i place ts on, however if you want to know who is talking and dont have a second monitor try http://tsdisp.sourceforge.net/ it overlays the person who is talking on yor eve window.

I run windowed mode, the game doesn't crash when alt-tabbing out of it. I also set it resolution just so it feels a full screen except my windows taskbar. With two quickclicks I have seen who is on TS and or msn/yahoo. Those extra programs have their windows reduced that much so they don't cover up my shipstatus and targetlocks.

I liked full screen a lot since you can focus better on the game... however it suddenly becamse unstable and gave me crashes from hell and switching to windows mode fixed it... Then we have the annoying problem that game resolution doesn't work becuase of the damn windows bar at the top 
But anyway - it works best for me in windows mode and I even got a newer computer...

Those that want to run windowed but don't like the window bar at the top etc should check out this program. Very nice.
