Originally by: Pinky Denmark you get 2.000 isk for selfdestructing your uninsured shuttle - small isk but still over 20% back from waiting pressing selfdestruct before you eject and self-destruct you pod as well...
Or you could just dock the shuttle and self destruct your pod at the loss of 0 ISK...

Originally by: Katarina Hetiako I was informed in a local channel that it is an exploit to eject from your spaceship after docking has been accepted.
This 'exploit' allows a pilot to send a ship to dock in station whilst allowing the pilot to remain outside station in his capsule.
Is this an exploit as I have recently been informed?
I don't want to get banned for something I had no idea was illegal.
It is a bug, one that I would consider mostly harmless, that I have never gotten around to fixing since it was first mentioned ages ago. The correct fix would be to just not dock the ship if the pilot was not in it.
But hold off the wailing and gnashing of teeth, because I have no plans to fix this at this time, and I would have to run it past Oveur before I did given people's dependence on it.

No. The feature, is shuttles. People just don't wanna buy them - or in the case of some outposts and distant 0.0 stations, can't; but that's up to the player base to make them available. Player market, remember? ________________________________________________

It is preposterous for pods to have warp drives and engines but us not to be allowed to use them to travel around space in. Shuttles have their uses - they are entirely different to pod travel.

How the heck can it be an exploit to stay in space in a defenseless pod.
Fix is to be able to eject in station from your current ship into a pod then no one would need to use this "bug". ___________________________________________ http://www.eve-tutor.com

If you do fix it allow us to undock in pods, because that will save the shuttle/ibis clutter.
