I was just reading the rules again and one thing that came to mind was docking. It seems we'll be starting docked in-system. And, this is NPC null, so the station is open to all as far as I know.

Will we be able to dock during the event? And, if so, can we make/use dock/undock bookmarks? (if yes, can we do it before the event? i.e. should I make bms now in preparation?)

I was thinking that if we get loot (modules, implants) in space, we'd likely need to dock to make use of them. Also, docking for repairs is generally something people might want to do.

But, docking also makes us safe and thus would allow one to stay alive in the event without risk (bad). I assume you'd want to prevent this somehow.

Maybe it will all become clear once things get started.

My question is related to the types of ships that will all over the battlefield. For example i don't have t2 large autos yet. so would the battleships all be t2 fitted?

How will this work? Clearly some ppl are going to be able to fly more stuff. Power to them, but it would be nice if the ship name or something would give an indication of how its fit.

Or we could just go for it and hope like hell we have something we can shoot with

Frozen Death -- The first person to be podded -- Set of +5 Implants -- Guisseppe Saissore

First Blood -- First person to pod someone out -- Cynabal -- Mystical Might

Assassination-- First Person Podded by a Overseer during Sudden Death--Tech 2 Fully Fit AF--Guisseppe Saissore

If guisseppe was the first podded, and the first podded by an overseer during sudden death, that implies he died at the hand of an overseer, at least 2 hours into the event (which I believe is when sudden death was started iirc), but the first two accolades I listed would imply Mystical Might was the one who podded guisseppe to start off the carnage?

I see, speaking of all this - what sort of support did you guys get from CCP? Did you get to play around with otherwise in-house tools? I'm just asking out of curiosity.
