People did Alucard, don't try to bring that down on us. Many groups, my alliance included, assisted in Enaluri. However, many groups didn't want to simply because they actively refused to help with any of our campaigns, IE Oicx or Eha or Innia. In response to the reshipping thing, we have a LOT of ships now, but we were not expecting that kind of attack at the time so our response was delayed. I handed out hundreds of ships, from cheap to expensive, and we did the best we could. As far as AU goes, I adjusted my sleep schedule in order to be online to assist with that, but only on one night did I have enough numbers to deal with what was in Okkamon (kudos for the good fights X Gallentius). I know people hate the excuse, but Summer is here. I have multiple characters in Gallente and I can say for a fact that the time of year has hit Caldari harder than Gallente. Normally Caldari has 250 online during AU timezone and upwards of 500 during EU. That's sitting closer to 100-150 during AU and 200-250 during EU. That's a huge drop in activity. We've lost farmers, Jita spinners and combat pilots alike. When I log in at night and find that Gallente outnumber our active militia online by 50 it doesn't leave much hope for assembling a fleet to deal with what they have. Those 50-100% more squids in local were very often afk in station, just watching the action, or not interested in participating. The number of people actively in fleet participating was far lower than the number in system at any given time. For example, when I swung by to try and see what I could do in the AU timezone last night, there were a good 5+ people in system, and I had 5-7 in my fleet. If those 5 in system joined us we would have had a fighting chance at dealing with your 13+. However, those 5 were not around to join. I would have absolutely loved to fight Yuri's fleet last night but I couldn't (ended up doing so anyways and whelping a bunch of stuff against his greater numbers, but it was a gf nonetheless). It's very similar to back when you guys flipped Innia. You would bring 40 to the system to plex it, and there would be 40+ Caldari in system, but in actuality it was a fleet of 20-30 people and 20 24/7 afk station campers. Haha, I'm Cal Mil through and through Thanatos. The last thing you'll see is me pulling a Khan and flipping to Gallente, either solo or with my alliance. I just hope that this campaign is over because frankly, I much prefer the small gang skirmishes and solo stuff with your guys in the Kurala constellation (and elsewhere) to masses of Derptrons and Derplins and other such nonsense. GIve me smashing fleets of 10 AF's against each other any day over a 100 person engagement filled with ships made to be as cheap as possible. You act like you don't have any spies in Cal Mil that can see the same numbers I can in militia chat, or that your FC's don't come in to places like Innia and post gif images about us all being docked up. I'm not disclosing anything you guys don't already know, or couldn't already figure out by simple means without needing actual spies or inside intel. It's not like I'm saying we have X pilots that can fly Y at this specific timezone. I'm commenting on the raw numbers in our militia, numbers that are easily visible to anyone that cares enough to check. The numbers I posted were from yesterday, which may have well been an outlier. Many groups (oh no, more intel incoming) had moved their stuff out of Okkamon heading into the AU timezone, as they did not have a large enough AU presence themselves to ensure that it would still be Caldari owned by downtime. Lots of people decided to take a break last night. The fight was long, hard, and a blast, but it takes it's toll at a certain point. I can assure you, without posting more numbers, that there are not the same numbers I posted yesterday as there are online today. In fact, there may or may not be more people online in Caldari than Gallente right now. ;)
Back on topic though, awesome siege guys, had a blast fighting most of you (except that Perunga guy, I only like him when he rages at funkybacon). A lot of the members of my alliance experienced some of their first PVP in this battle, talk about a trial by fire. Lessons learned all around, we won some, we lost some, new strategies arose, new people have joined, some people have left, overall it was a great experience despite losing. Was definitely one of the biggest fights to hit the Caldari side of the war zone in quite some time. Does anyone have any numbers like what Veskrashen posted but from the Oicx campaign? I'm curious how the damage done compares, as that was quite a heavy fight as well. We've got a bunch of derptrons and derplins uglying up my corp hangar right now that need losing. I say bring it on. ;) The sooner I run out of these and can get back to running ships that don't suck the better. You would be surprised, I think, given the logistical coherence on your side, how many Caldari assets are not there. The last couple of days actually involved a whip-round to buy and move in the ships needed for that day. Rather astoundingly, many Caldari corps do not keep several thousand plexing frigates in their home systems to hand out free to people who join the defence. Wait a minute... WAIT A FREAKIN MINUTE!!! Who was handing out free ships?!?!?!?! Whenever I was on there were no freebies being handed out... there were a few loaner BSs being lent. But, you loose the ship you pay the owner. FREE SHIPS??? Please let me know next time and I'll give Thanatos my 2 week notice before dropping corp...
My corp alone fit up 16 billion isk in ships to hand out for free during the engagement in Okkamon.

Bohica Empire has left Faction Warfare. Into the Ether, which was one of the main corps in the alliance, has joined RAZOR alliance. The main group still remaining in Bohica is Windrammers but I don't know what their current plans are. Rots Mijnwerker, CEO of Into the Ether is the one that made the LoTR quote. LOL all I stated was that I didn't know what the current Bohica group is doing but that they aren't in FW right now, and that Into the Ether left for Razor. Somebody had already asked about that, and noticed it. I didn't provide anything that hadn't already been noticed. Please explain how that requires spying? They aren't even Cal Mil anymore. Would you like me to give you some intel on what corporations are in Goonswarm and Pandemic Legion as well? I can read the in-game member list and provide that if your spies are that incapable of reading. If that is true then either you were fitting the wrong ships or you just need to fire all your allies and everyone in your alliance for failing to hold the system and start over from scratch. I'm a little envious of your isk flow, but I hate making isk *shrug*. With that much being given for free you guys should be able to roflstomp with halfway decent leadership and members. I can only conclude your members are even worse than I thought.
I'm just making a jab at the guy saying he's putting in his two weeks, don't read too much in to it. CEO of Crimson Serpent Syndicate --áwww.crimsonserpent.com Chairman of Heiian Conglomerate --áwww.heiian.com Owner of FWC - www.factionwarfare.com |
