Some years ago, a Gallente cyberneticist claimed that there is an ancient supercomputer in the Amarr system, that uses nanites to imitate divine intervention and manipulate prophets.
Yesterday, a Gallente capsuleer claimed to Gutter Press that they found God, in the outer limits of the Amarr solar system, some 150 AU from the Hedion stargate, after attempting to scan down an unusual signal.
The blasphemous capsuleer alleged that God took the form of "A four-dimensional pyramid with a single all-seeing eye", and that this entity spoke to them, urging them to spread a message to all the worlds of the cluster.
The alleged pyramid then hurled the capsuleers ship into Kor-Azor Prime solar system, without the use of stargates.
A Theology council agent required medical attention for near-asphyxiation, having almost laughed to death, when asked to comment on this sequence of events.
Amarr capsuleers were immensely sceptical of these reports.
"A what pyramid?", said one Khanid cyberknight pilot.
"How can it be an all-seeing eye if it's on the front? An eye can't see what's behind it", said a liberal Holder.
"Dark Times" said a mysterious hooded figure.
"Sounds like someone's been on the sauce. We knew what to do with that sort of person in the Navy, I tell you." said a Ni-Kunni naval veteran.

This is nonsense; the gods and ancestor spirits dwell in the Ginnungagap, not some weird pyramid.
And why would a god want to hang out in the Amarr system? Have you seen the drivel in the Local comms channel?

Though it says they were Gallente, I think it's likely that they were a Serpentis associate, all hepped up on goofballs. |

As I have said before, I do not necessarily hold to strict mind-body separation and thus am open to physical manifestation of religious phenomena. That said, I have my doubts about this sighting. |

The fact that the Sebiestor designed a formidable fleet whilst only perceiving two dimensions would be an accomplishment worth celebrating, one would think.
Regarding the Gallente in question, I suspect it's much more likely they met with a powerful and long-hidden 'stash'. |

Technically, that's not entirely true, Tuulinen. The fourth dimension is quite difficult to represent and envisage in any accurate form, but it's part of quite a bit of mathematics theory and work. The most common depiction of a four dimensional object would be the rotating tesseract, that looks pretty much like it's turning itself inside out continuously.
Vectors and coordinate geometry can be used to mathematically describe a four-dimensional space and objects in it, but we quite obviously lack the senses and mental capacity to properly picture it, as we're quite well entrenched in our three-dimensional universe.
Some do use time as the fourth dimension, when combining it with space, calling it spacetime or spacetime continuum but this does not mesh too well with the concept of fifth, sixth etc dimensions.
Anyway, to put it simply, yes you can call time the fourth dimension, but it's not quite right. Bellarella also should try some good hallucinogens and find some very lovely depictions of four dimensional objects on Galnet. Tesseracts get particularly freaky when you're in the right mindset.

The math in question is used extensively in our warp and jump technology. Without it, we'd be slow boating around in our own solar systems, barely getting to the point of sending sub-light vessels past the heliospheres.

Actually, there are a number of unanswered questions here.
Firstly, I'm somewhat curious to know what the message was, that the pyramid wanted the capsuleer to spread ?
Secondly, just how common is it, for TC agents to find such blasphemy so amusing ?
Thirdly, was the eye on the pyramid on one of the faces? Or was it perched on the apex ? |

Not to pick too many nits but I believe you mean that we only readily perceive three spatial dimensions (as well as one temporal) but our Universe can be mathematically understood as having eleven dimensions.
