Hi from CCP offices! We're beavering away to get everything ready to bring you live coverage of the 2nd EVE PvP Alliance tournament, and we¦ve put up a website which includes information, blog and other stuffs for your pleasure. Keep track as Xyliana, spiralJunkie and Hinik film everything possible at EVE HQ, and get ready for the biggest ever live EVE Event!

Couple of questions though:
1. Will you be providing transcripts of the Dev Interviews?
2. Will you be providing transcripts of the tournaments themselves (a written play by play basically?)
The blog is really coolness too!!!! And Dev derailment is fun!!! Its like watching a train wreck but with more humor!

The tournament is this weekend!?!? Fuc#@^ú!!! It's my bday this weekend and I'm doing everything but sitting in front of the PC.

Hi,
It would be great if someone from one of the teams batteling could fraps the engagement so that we can se what is going on (fiting is not necesary).
It's great when u see how ships are tanking and how close they are to death at some point (remeber the AC tempest in the last championship that reached the target in 2mm of structure:D and then won... that was superb).
If this could be arranged it would be GREAT :))

we are providing live streaming my friend, so every single match will be show live, maybe even with some UI tweaks to improve the experience :p

Well if anyone at CCP is offering to pay me in backrubs and massage then I will think about it, alternatively your welcome to transcript the downloads. At the moment I am hoping to get some demo downloads of the highlights out the the community shortly after the event.

I am curious about this whole idea and in particular the link between CCP and Eve-Radio. I have some questions relating principly to the process involved between CCP and E-R forming this partnership, the technology involved in streaming it and its affect upon "competition" in the EVE community. To whom should I email or chat to with some questions?

Kylania, do you have access to a terminal screen? Oddly enough every firewall in existence that I have seen usually does not block Lynx. And you can view the site on Lynx....even the Eve-TV website (though the formatting on a text-only browser leaves a bit to be desired).

there's a new blog ready to be posted, written by one of the 'experts' (havent read it meself yet, so it may never be posted :p) but it's just the case that the crewing segment (Hinik Xyl and I) have had so much on we aint had time to write one, sorry kids.
The website, I aint sure. so if someone owns a webhosting company and wants to do me a ghood deal (read, free) for the next two weeks, that'd be smashing.

very nice :)
just 2 advices
the system is too dark and is difficult to see various ships.
it will also be nice to have some "cameras" for combat... commentators are using ingame options to zoom and change target of the camera, i think it will be better to have 3-4 ingame "different cameras" to switch with.
this way you can see from different points of view what is happenid and the "director" or even commentators can chose what camera use to show the most spectacular action

If you watch carefully, they do have several cameras. Near the beginning you can see a targetted ship flying off. That was the cameraman that was having technical difficulties. The "main" camera is the one with all the ships status.
Also, I agree that the system seems really dark. I had to boost the gamma on my video overlay to see much of anything
