Article here Anyways as you'll notice his last comments on the page. We all know that he's talking about eve. So here's a little Hi to you Kevin 'Isildur' Maginn ....and I hope you learn some valuable things from eve to implememt into POTBS because this game is of course the best MMORPG out there by far.

I don't know if Kevin Maginn is playing, but it wouldn't surprise me if he had at least a trial account at one time. And I remember a WoW dev mentioning that he play's EVE as well. I think its just part of being in the industry; part doing your homework, part doing what you love. I'm not all that surprised at all to know it happens. But as someone mentioned previously, that comment was made by the article writer, not the dev being interviewed. They left a ton of easter eggs related to EVE in one of the GTA games. It was a VERY long time ago so my memory might be wrong.

It looks like its going to be quite some time before its released though. But Age on Conan looks entertaining as well and that one hopefully shows up in Q4 2006. Also look for DBP Security in vice city. Sun Ra, Hazer and galavet are in the second last mission in San Andreas. DB-P (me), Black Lightman (blacklight) and Faith (faithless) are in one of the mission in liberty city stories. The game map resets every month, and combat is instanced. 8 ships max i beleive. when you enter a fight with someone you all zone out into an instance and all anyone else sees of the fight is a flag sat where your ship was. once they announced that, and especially the map reseting every month lark, i totaly lost interest. Oh and lets not forget... you kill someone.. they just respawn, can get in another ship, and after a period of time the ship they lost re-appears at their dock too, so they dont actually lose anything. Redundancy	Posted - 2006.07.07 10:39:00 - [24] I've run into a lot of people in the games industry who have played Eve - it's amazing who will come up to you at things like the GDC and tell you they love the game, or that Eve spontaneously took over their office at one point. I guess it's not that suprising that people who make their own games would enjoy Eve :) I agree with the poster who mentioned that the comment about the space game was by the Editor / writer though, but I'm also very interested to see what they're doing with PotBS.
