Today, Two becomes One.
Today, Fountain Alliance [FA] and the New Outer Ring Allied Democracy [NORAD] would like to announce that they have merged into a combined alliance to be named RISE.
RISE will initially reside in Outer Ring, while the integration of FA and NORAD into RISE is completed. The areas of claimed space will include the Outer Ring, and all Syndicate regions accessed only via the Outer Ring (6-V49K, QS-FVH and SKX-PL).
Below is a summary of the policies RISE will be following.
ò NBSI in our claimed space
ò RISE will maintain the æAnti-PirateÆ stance FA and NORAD maintained.
ò Standings will be set based on an agreed æcommonÆ standings list based on the current FA and NORAD lists, all corporations and alliances will be notified of changes to their current standings via the joint Diplomatic Crew.
ò Those wishing to clarify standings in case of non-notification, or have any other queries regarding RISE, our current Diplomatic Crew members are: Barin Serrano , Vache and nashi
We look forward to this new and exciting chapter in the history of these two alliances, both FA and NORAD will be maintained in an inactive state due to their history within Eve.

It just might!! I was watching this show last night about the Illuinati and it had a very bad effect on me. It caused me to see the world in a new light and question the things around me. So when a new alliance forms in EVE, I pay attention to the little details!

Now as I said earlier, there was a misscommunication, old habbits die hard and all that.

Is anyone else thinking the confusion on the original post is an indication that some people are being dragged out of Fountain kicking and screaming by their corp mates?
And not to forget, much respect to those who fought so long against such long odds in Fountain. Determination like that mixed with the wisdom to know when it is time to move on put me into an odd kinda awe.

I think the main reason most BoB pilots disliked FA quite apart from any bad-blood that might have gone on between FA and the BoB corps was that FA seemed to believe that by sitting in stations in WY- they could reclaim fountain (harsh, but true).
Of course, that statement will get me flamed most likely, however, those who would flame it, know it's the truth as do those reading it, so flame away, it shows nothing except the flamers own patheticness. Because pathetic are all the forum flamers. Those who can't tell truth from flame, are just as bad.
I personally respect people who stand up and actually _try_ to do something with the game.
R I S E appears to be the first move that FA has made to do just that. It shows that they have begun the process of adaptation, of evolution.
One must roll with the punches, always look to the future and what can be done, not look to the past, the past is gone, anyone who thinks they can live in it is fooling themselves.
And so R I S E, you get my respect for seeing that ghosting fountain and outer-ring is not the way forward, and that by moving on and adapting to current circumstances you can actually make something for yourselves.
Both NORAD and FA cannot be faulted for their dedication, the fault lied in their effectiveness. I hope that this new path gives them a new lease on eve-life, re-invigorates them, and they can begin to be effective once more.

I had one encouter with RISE ppl in sydnciate cpl of days ago , u guys are cool and bring up fights i like that tbh sicne it has been a very rare quality in many alliances and corps
