1. Before starting the campaign carry out a reality check. Are your leaders arseholes?
2. When bragging about your achievements, achieve them first. . Right: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=360868&find=unread . Wrong: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=356851&find=unread
3. When scheduling your allies to cover times and plexes, try to avoid putting allies together who hate each others guts.
4. Do not compare yourself to the Elite Special Forces in RL, you are a nerd in a bugged and flawed internet game. If you really were that good, you wouldn't be here.
5. If you are going to carry out some form of Psy-op campaign against the enemy. Try to have some method of measuring the effectiveness of your strategy. Just guessing the effect and making a lot of noise about it, only makes you look stupid.
6. When deciding whether you are winning or not, you have to factor in the enemies objectives in the equation. So for example picking off a Rifter in a novice plex with a Garmur is not a win, if the enemy close the plex.
7. Find out the smack talk policies of your allies and try to avoid putting allies with conflicting policies in the system at the same time.
8. Before posting stuff on the forum understand that nobody give a f*ck and probably won't even read your post unless it is the OP, the first couple of replies and maybe the last reply.
9. Be ready for setbacks in your plans and have an excuse ready.
10. Before lying about some fact, try to think ahead about how your enemy may use it against you later.
11. Remember the lies you have told, otherwise someone else will read them back to you at the most inappropriate moment.
12. Keep your publically stated goals vague so that you can change them later as the situation dictates.
13. Have a timetable to end the campaign (you don't have to tell the enemy). Just plugging on until your friends and allies are burnt out and desert you is the worst outcome you can engineer.
14. Only a c*nt rage quits after 12 days and abandons the people he brought into the campaign.
15. But don't worry, if the worst comes to the worst, there is always WoW. CTRL-Q - Minmatar FW - Low Sec PvP - Euro TZ - New Player Friendly Contact: Major Trant In game channel: FeO Public Recruitment thread: CTRL-Q |

If you understand what RL special forces do (bleeding) then start thinking about acting like that. They do not brag - and they all know they will die, because leadership does not care about them and regards them as ammunition.
So being an internet special force make you even better than in RL - you can not die.

But we were on Tier 4, I could make 75K LP per mission and I could run 30 missions a night. I play this game for my enjoyment, not to make 'content' for others.
That doesn't mean I didn't know what was going on. I do have some communication skills and talked with people who were involved and I did manage to wh*re on a few kills inbetween missions. Exclusive insight into top level FEO directorate board room!!!!:
Dear FEO Directors
I propose that we make an assault on either Kamela or Vard. I feel that we should check the pulse of the Amarr and try and stimulate some gud fites in the process. This would have to be a cross alliance effort with agreement for support from all alliance fcs for a week long effort.
I would propose an assault commencing the week of the 28th January with flipping timetabled for the weekend. Please vote for yes/no Kamela/Vard
I posted this in 2013. Kamela was chosen and it fell by the 1st of Feb. The system push 'for content' is nothing new. Sadly since this push there has been little appetite on our part for a plexing offensive. We generally have lives and such activities tend to prove a hinderance to appropriate social functioning.
In other news, the above post proves that I was once relevant. Players used to abuse me in local. Now it's all "Lory you douche" and "STFU Major". I get so jealous. |

So what you're saying is that you would rather the Amarr employ the same tactics we used for Dal and Arzad and either go for a month long grindfest until the hammer is dropped, instead of what resulted in a 3 week long Burn Huola ship slaughter?
We never really intended to headshot Huola and the campaign was greenlighted in less time than the 7 days before Burn Okkamon was even announced. The reason it got so high so fast is because based on posts from the Burn Huola thread, it caught you guys off guard. You can't deny that both sides were pretty inactive going into the campaign and we needed to turn on the hype machine to get our nerds to log-in and didn't really care to much about the mobilization on your side since we knew you guys were inactive and wanted a strong opponent to fight.

Oh stahp. You're making me nostalgic for the 2012 days. Thanks for bringing it. I truly mean that. I'm glad that we're still able to find ways to make spaceships explode despite still being semi-burnt out from the old days or realizing that having lives is cooler than video game addiction, whatever you want to call it.
Anyways, I really don't care if you label this as propaganda or not, because it's not. I don't play enough these days to have any vested interest in those things. Still, I do genuinely wonder if one day after a failed or successful system push we'll be able to post our side's perspective without the enemy crying either "omg the tears they're delicious!/what sore winners" or flying accusations of an attempt to rewrite history. Probably not though, I mean...mankind has been doing this for centuries well before they even had electricity for computer games. Gf

Ask away...we still have ties with I-NET who are active and independent Minmatar Corp and Hoplites are with Iron Oxide. Those being the only two active corps in WL; as we said at the time we have not vanished simply gone seperate ways.
At least 8 Hoplites pilots received medals for thier involvement in the campaign - it's simply a shame you attacked in our quiet season so more if us couldn't smash you. White Lotus may be no more as an alliance but it's pilots are still here ready to kill AWOXing traitors. Attacked any Amarr POSes yet?

Not sure if you're trolling or not. Just throwing this out there, but repeating that makes you guys look silly and makes us scratch our heads. If people on the Amarr side, such as Winmatar or line members that don't really know what they're doing went with it and decided to smack about it being a headshot or vocally wishing it was a headshot that's on them, but from a leadership and behind the scenes standpoint, it was definitely not planned as such and everything leading up to it says otherwise.
Don't get me wrong, trying to label something as a headshot that clearly isn't is great propaganda since then you can label everything they did as the exact opposite of what they did, but everything I have said thus far and everything on the front page of the post Trant linked is consistent with it not being a headshot.
"I hope this will not be a Blitzkrieg - I want a Stalingrad!" - Rahelis the day of the siege
Likewise you have Templar Dane's opening post, which mentions absolutely nothing about a headshot except for looking forward to good fights, losing ships, and having fun with a goal of system control.
I get the fact that us FW nerds want to have :narratives: like the nullsec guys, but my advice to you is to the Min/Gals as winners is to focus on their own stories rather than attempt to make one up for the other side.

Also, if it wasn't a serious attempt to take Huola then why did AVNG implode?
There really is no shame in going for the win and failing so I'm not sure why you're denying something that looks pretty obvious. We in feo have loved the fights and the high stakes of potentially losing our system. By belittling your own objectives you weaken yourselves in the eyes of others. I can't talk for other alliances but the fact is that after the loss of Arzad feo were always going to fight harder and longer, pulling out all the stops and calling All The Friends. The opportunity to punish Winmatar again for awoxing their own militia was another huge factor in steeling our resolve. There is no shame in losing against a hardened and determined enemy. It makes you look good it makes us look good. If you really only wanted Rousch then you look like idiots for putting all your resources into Huola and fighting for three weeks solid 23/7. In eve terms that's a very long time to fight so intensely for something you didn't really want to capture. So quit with the nonsense about not wanting Huola anyway. It makes you look weak and stupid at best. We fought toe to toe for three weeks. You fought well and had a good plan that didn't come off against an enemy more determined not to lose. Don't take that away from yourselves. |

AVNG imploding has nothing to do a headshot. In fact lets be clear the only reason people even brought up the whole 'failed to headshot' thing was to demoralize the attackers. Let's face it and give into the facts no one knew exactly how long the Amarr were going to stay or how long burn houla was going to last.
The minmatar were so desperate to latch onto any type of moral victory that someone was even taunting the amarr for not taking the system fast in enough.
As in 'HaHa you didnt take it in a week you failed go home now so I can spin ships in peace and mission with my alt.'
Did burn Huola fail in it's original goal? Yes
Did it fail because of the leet combined forces were to strong? No.
Did it deliver some epic content that will be remembered for a very long time to come? Yes.
In the end of the day people can say whatever they think but the only reason Huola is still Minmatar today is lack of cordination.
Oh and the whole 'if you didnt mean to headshot it why did you plex it up so hi the first few days?" argument?
It's not our fault the Minmatar had to wait for reinforcements before finally acting.
So many Amarr pilots were bored out of their brains for PvP and at a moments notice Everyone was in for taking Huola for the pew, even Almity resubbed for the event.
Bottom line:
1-Minmatar leadership cry and complain about lack of PvP but can't be bothered to jump a gate or two so someone had to 'bring it to them'
2-For someone so 'starved' for PvP the minnies sure as hell tried their hardest to claim some kind of victory all throughout the campaign to just 'make it all go away'
3-If you really want to know who was starved for pvp and who was shaking in their boots just see how many Amarr poses went up and how many 'screams for allies' went up at the same time.

While I'm sure the few days you spent in Huola burning off the actual engagements in your 7kms Maulus/Keres makes you an absolute expert on the inner politics and wheelings and dealings of the Amarr, hey it might even substitute for actually being on the comms for all the amarr command meetings, call me crazy but I'm going to go with what I actually saw and heard on this one.
Also speaking of my 'corp', you do spend alot of time putting it down here again and again, do I detect some subconscious hostility ? maybe even some kind of sour grapes syndrome?
Anyway do pardon my lack of enthusiasm for EVE and FW anymore, it was a great time logging into EVE and jumping straight into a 20 or 30 vs 30 fight while it lasted.
While burnout might be a factor yes, I just hate the fact that now it's back from non stop epic fleet fight brawls in Huola to chasing the minnie and gallente alts from plex to plex or waiting for the terribad local pirates stack up on a gate next door and send an incursus into my plex. It's so meh.
As for Amarrian Vengeance....well...for now...the Angels sleep....like they always do after a huge campaign. Maybe they will be back, maybe they wont. Who knows.

Im just making accurate counter points to the unjustified relevance you seem to place on what was obviously a fragile corp more known for its actions in the local chat window than anywhere else.
As for the amarr, are you telling me im mistaken that they live outside FW? Ducking the best conflict driver we have then complaining there is no combat is amusing. |

8. Before posting stuff on the forum understand that nobody gives a f*ck and probably won't even read your post unless it is the OP, the first couple of replies and maybe the last reply.
All these steps are wrong, simply cause number one is not have Corsi leading the invasion, PERUNGA gate camping the system, and XG being space Jesus. And to be fair the last is the only reason anything campaigne in th Gal Mil works.

This won't change without a lot new blood coming into Amarr. I'll personally just choose to go dormant and see if any serious contender develops in the Amarr militia. Other games are just more appealing time/ reward - wise. Also - lived in the war zone for the entirety of my militia time as many of my friends have as well. |

We live in sis, we have always lived in sis. We fallback to egg when we lose sis, its simple. Like anyone else that would have to fall back if they lose their home. In fact right now your spais should be telling you that we probably couldn't defend it if minnies/galls attacked.
Just saying.
Your forumfu is pretty impressive crosi but you really are starting to look like a man on a mission to whine about aveng too much. They have done a lot more to talk about than you in this warzone and will always be a major part of amarr militia history. To say otherwise is silly. Like them or not they've made massive impact in this warzone and as I udnerstand it over in caldari/gall one too when deployed there.
You know that though.... personal axe to grind still?

They deployed in south placid (after abandoning the amarr militia). The nearest hotspot being Intaki 2 jumps out which hosted ferocious battles between Val Erian and Drama Ragearion which were pretty much all that was happening around there.
AFAIK JUSTK, much smaller back then, evicted them single-handedly, though im not sure because i didnt even know they were there at the time as was mainly carting caps around on silly ganks.
I did live in bosboger for the best part of a year though, and basically was amazed at those guys local demeanour. Its like test but without the charm. |

There it is,,,,,the plot thickens.....care to regal us some more about your initial meetings with AVNG and Damar in the Itanki/Placid area.
I'm sure the readers would love to hear about that one. Liaison Officer -->Check Out Amarrian Vengeance History https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=352629&find=unread

What? where diana kim was using a toon that was blue to my alliance to shoot my alts? Dont recall much else of interest down there really. That was resolved satisfactorily.
Didnt think DK was in your corp. |

I dont remember, i only ever had this toon down there once for a great fight with saian steel in which i lost a dd to his hawk after he managed to get out the first time and refit to counter.
Other than that i was just running like 4 alts with no guns capping plexes. I was quite happy when there were 3 actual players blocking plexes, was always clearly broken but while the sun shines and all that. But when there were less than 3 id just make sure the one that was free was being run :)
There were lots of other systems to plex (no limit on overplexing back then), but i found it more amusing to give damar something to deplex when he logged on.
Since i was most likely sat on a titan bridge or waiting to undock a dread it was really not a big deal. Made some good intaki isk back then either way :) |

Close enough. I'll just leave it at that by adding all your alts were watchlisted and constantly hounded by AVNG. Hope that explains your whole 'AVNG forum vendetta' to the average reader.

Pretty much reinforces my point about you guys having no impact on our warzone, apart from getting kicked about by JUSTK, only other thing to do down there was to chase 4 derp fit whatever they were idr lol. |

Other than that, I heard that Crosi lives in Nisuwa and that he loves to be seiged. |

After Vlillirier was defended, they decided to bypass it in an "island hopping" campaign and instead take over the mission systems of Eugales, Intaki, and Ostingele. Damar and a couple alts locked down Eugales, and the Vengeance dudes moved to Ostingele.
Ostingele used to be the home base of the FDU NPC corporation, but CCP moved it to a non-FW system in the middle of nowhere.
