Who are you? I have never seen you before.

I can see this being abused by people sharing the links as other things, and having settings that are totally messed up. Would not wanna be one to click a link that is supposed to be a contract or fleet, only to have it over-ride my overview with setting that will take me time to correct.

I like the idea of sharing in general ... BUT not in an all or nothing fashion as presented. Make it possible to add fellow presets to your current profile which you can chose from but don't mess up with your current setup. This would ne a nice feature.

Can you make that automatically back up your current overview before applying the changes? I know there's a confirmation box but with such a radical change that completely overwrites everything, I think it'd be a good practice to automatically back up the settings before overwriting them.

This could use the existing export function, by exporting it as eg. YYYY/MM/DD_backup_001 or something automatically.

I think it's a bit of an ugly workaround for something which can be messed up with 1 click... If you're adding the feature, I'm sure we'd all benefit you spending the extra few hours to add the necessary polish to it with a revert.

what does it actually share? only the overview tab and bracket profiles or also the other settings like priorities etc.

I think it might have been a bit more appealing if these settings were imported/exported one tab at a time... and only if you have a tab free. Otherwise you are given the proposed prompt to back up that tab in case you prefer your old settings (of course it would give you the option of which tab to overwrite if all of your tabs are full).

I've also toyed with the idea that perhaps it might be a good idea to have a popup whenever you are aggressed by someone or something not already on your overview.

can the settings be per character instead of per account?

Does the new import/export saving also save the customisable corp/alliance tag input boxes?

I can't figure out how to load an existing preset.

It used to be that you right click on the settings icon in the overview settings window. If I have a bracket preset, how do I load it to modify it?

Thie question has been asked before but never got an answer as far as I can see:

Will we be able to add more than 5 tabs to our overview or will it still be limited to 5 tabs?

Are we able to bracket moons in space again?

1) What if we could save sets of overview tabs and browse through the sets, and clicking a link added a set? Give them names, and then they would simply appear in the background, with some non-modal notification that "overview set 'LOL n00b" has just been added." Even if the modal dialog stays, I would love to be able to load my overview in sets of tabs.

2) I like the idea that some sort of notification would appear that you were being attacked. I initially thought, "just put them on the current overview tab, flashing red!" but there are some weird edge cases there (person gets attacked at the same time that he switches tabs?) so maybe that one is best served by some modal/centered-on-screen/otherwise hard-to-ignore notification.
