Nice Post,
IÆm glad I got my set(s) of BMÆs as IÆm sure others are too, whether theyÆll admit it or not is up to them. I know all of you reading this got some as well, but the whine-wagon got few extra seats so hope aboard. Like those before me, I ôoriginallyö purchased or made my BMÆs to cut down on the travel time from gate-to-gate but learned to utilize them for survivability as well. Safe spots, station jumps, jettison cans, loot cans, back-up ship (b4 probes), rdvu points, and ôsniperö locations you name it; if I or my gang m8s could benefit, it was used. We are all paying for the privilege to play this game you knowà
But now that the game has evolved and PVP tactics have changed, ôletÆs scrap this for thatö says the massesà Like the Op, I too use to post here with one of my numerous characters about how this needs to be changed and that needs to be nerfed all to be blasted with, ôadaptö, deal with it, stay in empire then. As if this helped my friends and I to better enjoy the game. Thanks to BMÆs in every pilotÆs databanks, more players are venturing into low security; traveling 20 or 30 jumps without a second thought; Freighter service is somewhat doable and courier missions donÆt bore us to death.
Now I read gankers are complaining the game is FUBR because they canÆt snipe industrials ships or lock frigates and assault ships fast enough b4 they jump because BMÆs and their users are the new Axis of Evilà Well Adapt, deal with ità Use ôyoursö to chase us down and catch us, lazy. ThatÆs why Warp Bubbles, Interdictors, and a slew of other ship mods are in-game to help you, help yourselves.
You stop using yours and IÆll stop using mine. If and when the Devs change, replace or do away with all BMÆs, IÆll whine but IÆll also adept. Until then, I intend to enjoy bouncing off gates, cans and whatever 5000 other things in my places tabs can get me to faster. After all, I paid for them and in most cases, the time to make them too. For all of you with constructive replies to counter what the game throw at us, I commend you. It takes a lot effort to research and find viable solutions that most will shoot down and very little will agree withà But good luck with thatà
