For the last couple of days I have been experiencing some very wierd graphical problems in games. These problems happen both in EVE and DoD Source. In Eve, I only really see them while in station or warping, but in DOD its everywhere. I havent changed anything with my computer.

The card is a Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb. Its probably like 2 years old, but its served me quite well the whole time with zero problems. The drivers are up to date.
Any ideas?

Check your airflow in the case? Something might be overheating (Graphics Card) if you're getting glitch artifacts like that.

Nothing seems wrong with the airflow. I have a Lian Li aluminum case with a Top fan, my airflow is generally pretty good. Granted, I don't have any cable management and they're IDE, but I've never had any problems.

i sometimes get similar issues if i use media player on one PC,any thing running like that?

I get that in any game if I ever log on to my profile after it has been logged to someone elses (I have to reboot before hand).

Still sounds/looks like an overheating graphics card tbh... could be linked to the hot summer UK's been having (assuming you're from the UK of course).

I had similar problems with my radeon 9800 few months ago, mostly after the last big patch. I was anable to find the problem (usually is dust, heat, agp/mobo drivers) so I changed it with a cheap GeForce 6200 and an extra fan  . Everything seems to work much better now.

No, but I am in Florida. I tried opening the case up to the air, but it didnt seem to help. After work I will explore other cooling methods.

lol, I just tried to log into EVE and got this:
SEIZURESEIZURESEIZURE!!!!
I think its safe to say my gfx card has **** itself. Strangely, it still only does this in games. Windows is fine.
