This is all very confusing. So EMFI is auditing EIB or some other acronym. Who is auditing EMFI? Dark Shikari? Please help explain in less than a book.

All I can come up with is why would Cally start a public corporation if most of the capital in it was/is his. The idea behind a corporation is to spread risk. If you dont want people to ask you what you are doing with money then dont start a public corporation. But normally if you say nothing you get no investors. But normal eve stock market is not. Maybe he just started it so he can show off his wallet. Somewhat bizarre reason to start a corporation.
But what is the point of attacking Cally any more? Question has been raised. So far nobody is complaining about being scammed. There is a possibility that it is a scam but talking more about it seems unnecessary. I thought this was the Toursoul thread...

The irony of this is that there was an authority that gave money back to Dark Shikari and you too probably "or it would have destroyed the stock market in Eve" when an IPO turned into a scam. But both you and Dark Shikari and some others continue to give irresponsible and selfish support to the current EVE IPO market and there is no authority to fine you if you turn out to be spectacularly wrong.

I am not sure what else you are doing. I am providing scepticism. You and others like you are claiming that you are defending and building the stock market in EVE but you have to defend it like others because you invested so heavily in it. So yes you are doing something but is it going to turn out good? Maybe it will work for some people but in fact I think that your work could lose a lot of people a lot of money whether you mean it or not.
I just dont believe in IPOs creating money out of thin air. Somebody has to do the work and has to have some expertise to make money. But anybody who has the wilingness to work and expertise probably does not need to let the public in on his secrets. The only reason why somebody would want to let in the public on the secrets is if that person was lacking capital. But if capital is all that there is to it then soon after the founder of a corporation would make enough money to have enough capital to do everything that the IPO does without having to publish reports, answer questions and work for other people. So you see thats why I am sceptical about the stock market in Eve. But you can be all happy and optimistic and arrogant and we will see with time.

Maybe another way to make the point is this.
IPO is a real life term. In real life there are some sa***uards/repercussions against both scammers and incompetents. In Eve scamming is a well know risk but the incompetence (goes well with arrogance) issue is not resolved yet because the more loud you are on the forums the more competent you are as a business person in Eve. Thus IPO is not an appropriate term to use in Eve. Some other terms that you can use for for IPOs in Eve: low yielding junk bonds or IYLYMYS(if you lose your money you suck) investments.

The last few words of the last post are very important.
Yes the shares have gone up mostly. So did NASDAQ stocks circa 1999.
And also regarding the stock that you specifically mentioned. You dont know the balance sheet of that corporation. Let's speculate wildly and say that some of the loans were defaulted on but you dont know about it because it is not in the report. This means that the money that was given out for those defaulted loans is gone. Since it is gone, even if you are not told about it, this will affect results for next month since you cant charge interest on money that is gone. Every loan that defaulted will have adverse impact on profitability of the corporation for all the subsequent months. If more defaults follow the profit will keep decreaseing with very little chance of a turnaround unless the collateral is liquidated and proceeds re-loaned or BPOs are used to produce, though if the BPO were profitable in the first place the loan which it secured would never have been defaulted on. But since you dont know any of this background stuff as this info is not released you can happily rub it in my face that you got your dividends so the IPO is/was a success. However, if all you get is 3-5 percent dividend/month it will take 20-33 months before your capital is repaid. So with dividends of this size you only make money if you think that the corporation will survive 20-30 months OR if you are going to be able to sell the stock for more than what you bought it for irrespective of whether the company survives.
So based on what I just wrote if you own a stock in any IPO here it is in your interest to cheerlead for it. Similarly if somebody dear god says anything even slightly negative or sceptical about any Eve stock you need to engage in a full frontal attack on that person because you well know how dangerous to your wallet it is.

Right. So Cally gives you 40 billion and he does not know what you are doing with it as long as you pay him back 4 billion for month? And thats his relationship with "other directors" too? Thats how the bank operates? Fascinating turn of events. Sounds like Enron kind of. Looking forward to more info.

Wasn't the audit supposed to be out this weekend at the latest?
I dont know what the auditor is doing. But I think that it is in Cally's interest to log in and cooperate. If he does not log in then the auditor could say screw this I am not doing this any more and now you come to me Cally if you want me to vouch for you.
So I dont understand why this audit is still ongoing.
Second point is this. How can Cally manage the "bank" if he is not logged onto into a game for prolonged periods of time. You might say well he has "tellers." Well then somebody else might say "wtf do we need Cally for then?"
