Am I correct in assuming that the Huns have left the Xelas Alliance?
If so, would a representative of the Huns care to enlighten us of the reasons behind this decision.
Thank you.

some guy from a xelas corp yesterday was telling me how they are going to leave xelas because they didnt agree with the rest of the alliance and thought it sucked that bob dont even allow the to run any complexes in fountain the guy i spoke to was not a member of the corp you mention though so maybe a few corps are planning on leaving

A lot of people care, actually.
If you don't then you can choose not to read.

If true, my congratulations to Huns for recongnizing, finally, that more respect -- and self-respect -- comes from not being a BoB lapdog.
Good luck to Huns.

They live in and (attempt to) defend space that they agree not to claim and not to use fully and freely so that BoB doesn't make their lives unpleasant. Thats the definition of a lapdog. Of course one could argue that they are in a worse position than most lapdogs, because they actually fight and die for BoB, only in return for not being stomped by them.

same characterisation as miningslaves tbh...
Why cant ppl accept that weaker corps or alliances seek access to 0.0 space on a cooperative basis instead of going in all guns blazing ?
I guess its better for the PR to characterize other players as slaves and lapdogs when u shoot them knowing that ull not hurt your real enemy.
As for the "space claiming" compare it to someone renting a room in your house. Why would he declare himself to be the new owner once he starts to live in your 4 walls ?

BoB you're not far from "You Reap What You Sow." It comes a time when all bad things comes to and end, smacking, insulting, killing and abusing. It will all come to ya in ten fold.

Bring it, see how far the "reap" is.
Good luck to hun corp, honorable they are and easy to work with. They've certainly shown more forethought than you did, for a long time, Baun, and are packing up and going about their lives rather than getting drawn in to a bitter and futile conlict over space that you know you can't control.

I would agree with you, but they have no need to be subservient to BoB in order to gain access to an NPC station region. Its not very challenging to mine and jump haul using temp POSs, and you can't prevent people from docking.
People, as far as I can tell, are questioning the spinelessness of submitting to another group when you are doing much of the grunt work for them. I am certainly not contending that they should challenge you guys, just that they would be better served ignoring you to the extent that it is possible and preserving their dignity.

Fair point Focht. But they are legimitate targets in either case I am sure you will agree.

I think the claiming of NPC station regions is a bit suspect still to me. BoB doesn't live there, but can control it. Xelas does live there and cannot control it (and they don't want to have to be responsible for that by "claiming it"). One could argue that claiming regions like that has always been suspect, but in the past the large entity that was granted control (like CA/SA/FA) actually lived in the area on a permanent basis.

You know were we live, feel free to help with that ten fold payback. You won't of course but I can't help but suggest it.
On the other hand we are going to kill some of your alliance, just for the laugh. Enjoy.

Depends whether you can afford the good stuff, I don't drink crap whisky.
Cask strength Lagavulin or Edinburgh Malt Whisky society's very own please.
You'd better have 24 hours to spare as well, good whisky in any volume should not be rushed.
We'd also have to have a 10 v 10 Celes vs BNC immediately afterwards and no-one but you or I is allowed to talk/give orders during the fight, now that would be entertaining

I can't find a record of this "Isaac Asimov" you speak of in the Concord databanks, perhaps he is a figment of your imagination
Regardless, I found your "quote" confusing. Violence is not a refuge, it's a way of life . Those who post insults and smack on galnet either knows that already, or learns very quickly. ---
