Please feel free to explain how we or I are incompetent. I am interested to know your opinion.
instead of talking you went to take out your aggression on someone. and the qoute wasnt guided to "we or they" as you say, just "your" action. thought i couldnt be any more clearer than that.
And i never said i would do any payback none what so ever, dont know if you read it correctly.
Quote (me): "BoB you're not far from "You Reap What You Sow." It comes a time when all bad things comes to and end, smacking, insulting, killing and abusing. It will all come to ya in ten fold."
ever heard about karma?
quote (you): "You know were we live, feel free to help with that ten fold payback. You won't of course but I can't help but suggest it.
On the other hand we are going to kill some of your alliance, just for the laugh. Enjoy."
im not beeing insulting just stated that you bad actions agains well many will bring "bad" karma or what your willing to call it.

Regardless, I found your "quote" confusing. Violence is not a refuge, it's a way of life . Those who post insults and smack on galnet either knows that already, or learns very quickly.
sure violence is an refuge for those that cant settle it in any way. failing to communicate is one of those. and im not smacking, if you say so u dont know what smacktalk is. im just correcting your statment, not my fault u cant understand what im saying. "walking the way of destruction will only lead to your destruction"
and i say yet again, i shall not be the one to bring it in any way.

I guess its better for the PR to characterize other players as slaves and lapdogs when u shoot them knowing that ull not hurt your real enemy.
The use of term "pet" applied to the "cooperating" corp/alliance, in the most denigrating sense and usage, was popularized by exactly the corporation and alliance whose tags you are wearing at the time I am posting this. Ironic, huh?

God I hate Celest, they have to be one of the biggest forum twisting *****s in EVE. I mean, they are so up there own arse in what they used to be that they think there word counts for sumit. NEWS FLASH...........IT DON'T!
I quit EVE because there are too many **** whits that slag off bigger and better players, corps and alliances.
I have some good memoirys of EVE and more so the players of my last 2 corps I am only glad that I can take that away with me and not the thought that celest **** whits might be real people with real roles in life.
Now please shut the **** up.
Respect to: my old *****es :)

I would agree with you, but they have no need to be subservient to BoB in order to gain access to an NPC station region. Its not very challenging to mine and jump haul using temp POSs, and you can't prevent people from docking.
Thats a matter of perspective if they "need" to form peacefull agreements with the owners of the space or not. Ownership in npc regions is maybe abit more tricky but it still comes down to the same principles all 0.0 is controlled. If you get killed and camped daily you lose fun and members and hence the space. So for smaller entities it makes sense to look for partners.
Quote:
People, as far as I can tell, are questioning the spinelessness of submitting to another group when you are doing much of the grunt work for them. I am certainly not contending that they should challenge you guys, just that they would be better served ignoring you to the extent that it is possible and preserving their dignity.
The defintion of spinelessness and dignity always depends on the pov. Some ppl praise peacefull meeting solutions and cooperation above agressive approaches. As for the ignoring Bob part, we both know thats utopian, if they were unwanted they would be removed or feel the pressure. Dont confuse the situation of a bigger, mostly industrial alliance whos interest lies in iskmaking and colonisating 0.0 with the likes of a small tight knit corp like celes or other pvp groups who willingly fight guerilla warfare and have other places and ways to make isk.
Quote:
I think the claiming of NPC station regions is a bit suspect still to me. BoB doesn't live there, but can control it. Xelas does live there and cannot control it (and they don't want to have to be responsible for that by "claiming it"). One could argue that claiming regions like that has always been suspect, but in the past the large entity that was granted control (like CA/SA/FA) actually lived in the area on a permanent basis.
Im quiet surprised, back in the days when u were FA you were one of the HC members and FA willingly used the feature of npc stations to their advantage many many times. As for living and controlling the space, bob controls it via 2 simple strategies. a) they have colonists who populate it and defend themself (and hence the space) b) they have pos which secure sovereignity per game mechanics.
You cant argue that bob isnt in control unless you remove both of these methods from the region and put up control via gamemechanics yourself. Simply said, even with conquerable stations (in bobs hands with docking rights and posses) you would need to bring dreads to remove their claim. Something no faction has done yet. Npc stations only give in 2 situations advantages: a) youre too weak to defend your own space and hope that time and boredom will solve the invasion (old FA style) b) youre too weak to take the region from someone and just operate from the heart without the defending party having the ability to remove you.
As for Xelas motivation, i can only repeat. They know their agreement with bob regarding control and they will honor it, as much as it would benefit bobs enemies to put a drift between them.

Many words were and are used depending on their personal agenda. If you find my corp and alliance tag ironic i would suggest you reread your post and the last line "As usual, I speak for myself only."
Btw pet has a cute ring to it, you take care of your pet, feed it and get alot of joy from it. Far better then slaves or lapdogs.

Moving breifly on to the "Xelas are BoB lapdogs / allies / mining slaves" debate. Jeez this is an old one. Was going on from the day before Xelas Left Tenal and I can't belive anyone finds that an even mildly interesting topic of conversation anymore.

Depends whether you can afford the good stuff, I don't drink crap whisky.
Cask strength Lagavulin or Edinburgh Malt Whisky society's very own please.
You'd better have 24 hours to spare as well, good whisky in any volume should not be rushed.
We'd also have to have a 10 v 10 Celes vs BNC immediately afterwards and no-one but you or I is allowed to talk/give orders during the fight, now that would be entertaining
I'll donate a 66'er of fine Canadian whiskey just for that, Crown Royal or Canadian Club...your choice

Really mate I dont know to tell you this but this game has some PvP in it. Hence the violence. :)
Anyway, Is it so hard to understand? Xelas are in this relationship because its mutually beneficial. They aren't forced in to it. I doubt YOU would understand since controlling space requires more brain then celest has.
Goodluck to The Huns. Extremely hard working and intelligent group of people. Its been a pleasure to have flown with you. Its not another one of your ebul plans is it? My sympathies are with your enemies.

Many people forget how the relationship between BoB and Xelas even began when sharing there ill-informed opinions.
I was in Xelas when the North turned against us, and I fought alongside BoB as Xelas withdrew from Tenal. They were friends to us when we needed it, and we had nothing but respect for them.
If there are any doubts about the mutual respect between the two entities, you only need to look at the number of BoB members with Xelas corps in there Employment History.

I like to think of Fountain as an all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant. It has a nice variety of ores, npcs, and some tasty complexes for desert. We the management enjoy having polite customers who satiate themselves and have a great time. However, the location isn't all that great by its proximity to the Aridia ghettos. So we do on occasion get various homeless trash taking up residence in our usually pristine environment, getting their grubby fingers all over our furniture.
They typically enjoy accosting the locals with demands for money and food, who are more than capable of handling this human refuse. On a regular basis, the management makes its rounds, surveying problem areas and keeping standards to avoid hefty fines from the health inspectors.
Because we are such philanthropists, we take care to enforce curfew and make sure all unwanteds turn into their shelters at the proper times. Its bad for business to have their frozen corpses ruin our scenic landscape :( The worst grouping we classify as Celest, who suffer chronic constipation issues from sifting through our customer's long-rotten spoils. Because they don't listen to our expert inhouse doctor's advice, we've decided to include a prescription dose of Ritalin with their next enema. Conveniently, this should also help them form an organizational unit which isn't led by the egotistical and neurotic whims of Mr. Solo.
