Can you open jet cans and loot can while cloaked? If yes, can you move loot from said cans to your cargohold?

what distance do you need to get to open a can? ... what distance from any object will your cov ops cloak stop working?

You need to be within 1500m of a can to open it. Your cloak goes off when you come within 2000m of any object. So your question is irrelevant, that situation wouldn't happen.

That answers that question.
So, I'll ask another. When targeted by NPC or PVP and you cloak, do they lose target acquisition on you?

I dont think you can cloak once targetted, which is.. stupid.

You can't cloak if someone has a lock on you.

How is it stupid? If you could cloak while targeted, cov ops ships would be practically untouchable.

To avoid confusion:
- you CAN cloak while someone is in the process of targeting you, but has no lock yet
- you CAN NOT cloak when someone has a lock on you
