when i do pvp or killing rats it feels like the apoc and geddon are crap for doing both and when i use a raven with alot less skills they seem to me better some how?
Can anyone explain why this is?
and which is the best pvp bs do you think to use is?

Ooh looky, the much more appropriate Ships & Modules forum.
But, to be less rude, the raven is easier to fly against NPCs with lower skills. It's a combination of factors, including the way it's easier to do damage with missiles at lower skill levels.

The Raven is the best NPCing ship... The geddon can do some really fun things in PvP, though.

Any gunnerey boat requires the right ammo for the right range, and as NPC's orbit at different ranges it makes it difficult to fit the right turrets/ammo for the job. A missile boat however does not suffer from this as it doesnt matter what range you are at, the missiles will always hit for the same damage. For PVP I wouldnt use a BS you would be better off in a cruiser/HAC personally I prefer the caracal for pvp.

There is really no best battleship for pvp, it all depends on the situation. For pve it is basicly the same, if you are hunting angel rats with a Geddon or an Apoc you will have a hard time, cause they have pretty good resistances, while a raven will have it easier cause you can switch damage types. Rats will use electronic warfare as well, so you might have a problem hitting a sansha rat with turret weapons, because they tend to use tracking disruptors, something a Raven doesn't care about.

Flying a Dominix means never having to say "I'm outta ammo"
