Just to clarify, FREEE had no intentions of shooting Sparta. Once NFC went down, we pulled back to Fade to help out in I-UU. Although we had not engaged Sparta, they had no problems setting us -10, and shooting one of our pilots. Even so, we still came to an agreements that we had bigger fish to fry and we would stay out of it.
It's unfortunate that our long-time friends chose this path, but what's done is done.

Esgato acted on his own, went up to A4L to bait you guys into shooting. At this point we did not know where we stodd with you. Of course, you passed the test flawlessly, and shot him. Even then, we still stayed out of the conflict until you NAP'd Goons.
Now who is the better friend? The corp that maintains standings even after being shot, or the alliance that sets a corp to -10 because their other friends are attacking them?
Sparta had absolutely zero intel to suggest that we would join IRON/FLA in attacking them following NFC's surrender. We made it fairly clear to anyone that asked that we would remain concentrated in Fade until Goons were pushed out.

Well, judging by the number of convos asking about applications, I'd say there may be some truth to that. If not complete corps, I know there are alot of members looking elsewhere, particularly from corps that recently joined Sparta in hopes of remaining in Dek without the fighting.
