Been done for millenia in politics.
Running a political compaign is expensive.

I just had an ugly image of an Amarr frigate with the BIG logo on its dorsal plates, and the announcement, "Team Discorporation uses only certified BIG Railguns," coming through the local channels.

I have placed some money on the Sarum... er, female dog. Heavens help that I threw it away for nothing, but if she wins, well, some extra money for more ammo would come in pretty handy  |
