Originally by: Hale Haleson If so, the 30+ online gaming community may be the right place for you. We have a few members in Eve already and wanted to see if were others out there like us.
If you ever lost your ship due to a sneak attack by your three year old, or had to bail out on a fleet op because you had the take the wife brisket shopping, then we may be the right place for you.
We are looking for people who are:
30 years or older (hence the name). If you remember Nixon or Edward Heath (I had to look that up), you're probably the right age.
Remember that RL > Eve. We play when we can. If you can only play on weekends, that's fine, if you are afk 80% of the time that's fine. If you have to bail at the last second because to cat is on fire, that's ok too.
A team player willing to contribute to the greater good. Extra cash or unneeded equipment will go to the corp. In return, the corp will supply all (reasonable) ships and equipment that you need. The level of support will be commensurate with the level of contribution.
Able to work solo or in groups. Everyone is free to do their own thing, but we work together when schedules permit. Missions, mining, patroling around low sec looking for a fight are typical corp activites. Experienced players help the noobs, etc.
Join us on our Teamspeak server.
We are open to new and established characters in Eve. There is no skill point minimum. No self proclaimed pirates please.
We are primarily US and Canada based, but would be interested in members from other parts of the globe. I know a few words in Maori, and have it on good authority that England cheats at cricket.
If you are interested, please drop me a line. As I mentioned above we'd like to see how many oldsters there are out there and if there is enough interest to form a 30+ Eve team. You can check out the 30+ community at www.30plus.org
Looks interesting. I like being a independant freelancer, but wouldnt mind some socialization with other older people. It gets lonely out there in deep space. :P As long as I can do my own thing when I want to, and not expected to slave monkey for the corporation that is cool with me.
I am over 40yrs old and not particularly fond of teens since I am a grumpy old man, just dont have the tolerance level. <:) Prefer people that were around in 1960s or so with same mind set.
I have a fighter pilot and a miner/researcher/manufacturer avatar. I play both of them at the same time since I have 2 computers. Also have a marketing avatar I use to sell my stuff I make and buy as well. Havent played in while but just started back after year off. Trying to remember everything, but its hard when your old. Looks like a ton of changes since last I played. I am a causal player and just play when I feel like it.

40+ non-cricket cheat Brit w/TS playing in the GMT time zone. Been subscribed for about 18 months but only playing seriously for the last month. Skills currently around the 750k mark concentrating on the one character. Ratting (0.5 / 0.4) in a Rupture and mining (0.9) (while chatting) in a Scythe / Hoarder combo.
Real life commitments mean that my online time varies. Working from home, family, significant other, means I may be on pre DT, post DT or evenings (GMT)....just no telling! Probably get a good 15 hours a week in though....maybe more.
Looking for a corp that allows me to retain a freestyle lifestyle if I can only manage a half hour online, but has enough going on to engender a sense of community and a vision for development both in corp development and structure.

Still looking for old timers!
I'm pleased to announce that Nascent Nimbus will be helping me with recruiting for those old timers that are near GMT. If you are on that side of the pond, please feel free to contact him in game. If you are in the New World, please contact moi. If you are down under, we have an open recruiter position for you. :)

I'm just getting rolling in Eve, and I'm working my way toward manufacturing. I've only been in the game 4 days, but I've peaked at 5million ISK, and have built up about 175k skill points. I get to play a lot at night, and for an hour or two at lunchtime , EST.
I'm also 35, and my first child will (God willing and the crek don't rise) arrive in the beginning of December. I've got Eve running on a laptop, o it follows me around the house, hich make it easier to stay on top of things.
I'm looking for a good corp to join, one that could use some stuff built. I've got 4 researched BPOs right now, and have run a few manufacturing runs to try it out, but I won't have my PE up to 4 until this weekend.
Let me know how I can help...

Where does your corp operate?
Thirty-plus? In my case it's 40+.
Remember Nixon? I remember Kennedy, haha.
I assume the name of your corp is "Blueprint Haus," yes?
I'd like to hear more about your corp.

Calling all GMT +-2
Hi,
if you are interested in registering, but live in the GMT-2 -> GMT+2 timezone, look me up in game. I am the go-between for Hale given that he is GMT-5 and can't always be on during our gaming times.
I will try to help as best i can, otherwise i will pass on the information to Hale.
My hours vary, hence the reason for joining 30+, so if you don't see me in-game, drop me a mail with any questions and i'll do my best to help. I'm based in the Arlek system which is just a jump or two from one of the Minmatar starting systems, Rynn..... something. There is an office in the CORE Complexion Inc station (Arlek) so it is easier to apply there than jumping the 20 jumps to Inghenges.
Cheers

Still have room for a few new players before I have to boost up my leadership skills again.
If you are intersted, look us up this weekend! We've had some inquiries from some smaller corps that are interested in merging with us and joining 30+. If you fit that bill, drop me a line and we can go over the finer details. |

I have 17.6mill sp (good miner, good manufacturer, good lvl 3/4 mission runner, with 5,6 mill sp in missiles, with 290+bpo's).

You have a great idea for a corp, but the requirement to install Teamspeak is a deal-breaker.
How many older players play late at night, with the sound off, while the wife and kids sleep?
And some people, like me, are very uncomfortable with speak-via-the-net programs. My reason? Well, I explained it when I chatted with a member of this corp ingame.
Too bad.

The Blueprint haus (somewhat misleadingly named these days) is not a carebear corp. We operate in low sec at this time, and may operate in 0.0 in the future. We could be wardeced at some point, or may want to issue our own declaration.
I know from personal experience that PvP combat requires voice communcations for a team to be effective, regardless if you are talking about 2 ships or 200. All members are expected to participate in PvP when necessary, and this requires voice communciations.

Hey there,
UK based 30+ pilot with little time to play, looking for a new home, a new direction and some like minded ppl to join.
I have 28m skill points mainly in combat but also in mining (large barge) and t1 production (prod eff 5).
I've contacted your UK recruiter and im waiting for a response, but hes probably taking the kids to the park
I look forward joining and remebering the days when Elite (still my fav game of all time) was the cutting edge of technology, ooh those sexy vertices

Well, the whole corporation is founded around the principal that you play when you can, so I'm not sure if we'd fit your definition of real active, but we do have quite a few members that spend most of their time in low security, and we have been making pirate sweeps on the weekends or whenever we get a gang together. One of our guidelines is 'everybody works, everybody fights' (credit to Robert Heinlein).
If you are interested in PvP as part of a well rounded gaming experience, we might be a good fit. If you are looking to shoot people all the time, we may not mix it up enough for your tastes.
If you are interested I look forward with speaking with you in game.

Sounds like the perfect corp of players who understand when you can't use Team Speak or Ventrilo for fear of waking the kids...
Please keep me in mind if you ever make it out to 0.0 space.

I'm another new-to-Eve, thirty-something that thinks this is a great idea. With a child on the way, it's quite possible that my playing time will become eratic and limited, so this might be the perfect corporation for me.
I'll try and make contact with you, Hale Haleson, when I get online tonight.

Is teamspeak a requirement? This corp looks good but I feel a little uncomfortable using speak over the net programs. Also, like some of the rest of you, I have need to be quiet late in the evening when I would probably be playing.

If so, a great group of guys. Lots of fun on teamspeak and chats when we used to play you guys.

I apologize if people have been looking for me in game and I haven't gotten back to them. I've been horrendously busy at work this week (and weekend) and I don't think I've been on more than 10 minutes since last weekend. I'll try to catch up as soon as possible.
psylenz: Yup, should be the same 30+. I don't know about those nancy boys on the CS team, but I'm on the BF team and its a great group.
Frankie: You don't have to be on TS all the time, and we certainly understand when you need to be quiet, but most of the time you just need to listen. We like people to be on TS for dangerous situations, and corporate ops, plus its generally a lot faster than typing.

We are still here and still looking for mature players.
For those with PVP questions, we are involved in our first war, and we're have a blast (so to speak). Between the war and our low sec operations, no one is complaining about not enough shooting.
If you are interested, please post here or contact me in game. |
