Ahh... I'm interested in finding a corp like this as well... I'm 24 though, but I'm military and I work a second job as well, lol.
Still, nice concept ^.^ "Faith is all I have left. Religion has left me broken and wanting."

Pfffft....I drove my date to the theater.
Just a summary for all recent posters:
The corp is Blueprint Haus The forums are http://forums.30plus.org The recruiters are Hale Haleson and Tekumze Wolf. Evemail them or get on the 30+ forums.
The reqs are 30+, kids optional
We're using Ventrilo right now, may be using Teamspeak again shortly. At least being able to _listen_ on Vent is a must. No way to run large gang PVP without voice communications. I don't talk on it much, and when I do, I forget to lower the mic boom, so they probably don't hear me anyway.
We cover all time zones, and will shortly have operations in both 0.0, low sec, and high sec. Play where you are comfortable.
It's a semi-socialist model, stuff you need you keep, stuff you don't need you share, and it works pretty good. Especially for PVP ships, makes it a lot less painful.
That's my summary as a relatively new member.

Is 29 and a half close enough to 30 to get in? lol
I don't mind sitting at the kiddy table for 6 months.
I played eve for 2 years, got bored, gave a friend my 2 characters, left for a while and am now back to start all over again.
Lemme know if I fit the bill.

The answer is that at 29 1/2 you can be a recruit for six months. Doesn't affect your in-game ranks, though you'll have to listen to those of us more obviously over-the-hill make remarks about "whippersnappers".

Well, it seems that you have piqued my interest too!
I am a 36 year old gamer, who like many others my age have a real life that comes first. However, gaming is my hobby, and I spend as much time as possible playing.
Currently reside along the West coast of the US.
I am very interested in 30+
I'll look for you in game, but in case you find me first, I go by the name "Pax Custos" in game.

I'm not thirty +, not even 25+, but this corporation is a real pleasure to behold, I always prefer playing with older players because of the (for the most part) maturity. If I ever get bored of my directorship (and get 9 years older all of a sudden) I'll look you guys up. Kudos. _____________________________________

This is exactly what I am looking for, I understand if you decline however, every organization must have it's standards, even in real life :).

Fadeev and Pax, I will send you Eve-mails and try to set up a conversation. We have recruiters in ANZAC and Euro time zones who you may contact as well.
The 30+ question comes up a lot. This isn't just an EVE corporation, 30+ is an international gaming organization specifically chartered for a group of people that share a lot of real world concerns. It's tough to gripe about your teenager's driving habits to an 11-year-old. The charter, http://www.30plus.org/charter.php, makes it clear.
So while I know a lot of 15-year-olds that are a heck of lot more mature than some of the 50-year-olds I work with, the rules are the rules, and they've been very successful.
My hobby, especially in winter, is online games. (In the summer, it is accidently rearranging features of my little farmette with large deisel equipment). The group I'm in on EVE is one of the best run organizations I've been in, probably just because we don't need a lot of organizing.
Maybe somebody needs to start a 20-30 group for poor souls still in shock from their first marriage and their first kid.

I'm so old I saw Star Wars when it first came out while in the US Navy when my ship pulled into Hong Kong back in '77. I'm so old I watched the Watergate Hearings on TV. Think I'll look you guys up. ------------------------------------- When the casual players go, the income will drop, and Eve will die.

If you lost the ship because you were _helping_ the kids, then there's a spot on our PVP gangs just for you...

Does playing the first ELITE-game on a C64 right after release make a good qualification?

Vale of the Silent mostly. And we did just have a discussion about Elite, and whether it was more manly to use a docking computer, or attempt to dock manually while drinking beer.
I didn't use the Commodore, played the one they ported to PC CGA. I would say the typical C64 user qualifies for our happy group.
