I would like to see that cloak devises get an counter messure.
A timer with an cooldown on it - or an advanced form of scanner that can scan only for cloaked ships - or the cloaking devices needs fuel. Just some way to preventing permanent cloaking.
This way it would be possible to get the fingers in some of the bots that uses cloake, and some of the AFK cloaking players. |

I cant see why this idea shouldent be a part of the game.
You have counters for allmost everything in eve. The Cloaking device needs to have a counter "thing" if it is fuel, scanners, a cooldown or a 4 thing that I havent thought of.

It has a few counters. Cans, smartbombs, bombs, large collidable objects, etc.
well all of them are based on yhat you get into a 2500m range.
If a cloaking bot are warping to a safespot, you have no chance to get rid of him.
If I just could scan for him...it would ofcourse take some new skills and some "long to read skills"
I cant see the cloakinng device dont use some sort of fuel. Its a device that has to do a entire ship transparrent, that (I guess) would take a lot of energy or some sort of matter, and not just some power from the capacoter. It does not make sense to me. |

that way they cant cloak and they cant scare poor carebears by showing up as a red box in their local. so the carebears can freely do what they wish.

Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, you are an excellent example of why NPC corp characters should be banned from posting in any forum except New Citizens Q&A.
Right now I am in a NPC corp becource of lack of time to play.
I have beeing PVPing for a very long time in the past.
In the game PVPing are my life, but I do not have the time, or "had the time for a very long time" (have become a dad) so this is "demanding" a lot of my time.
But that does not make my thourghts about the game silinced... |

I will surtentlly pick my baby boy over EVE, or use time with frinds over EVE...
If you dont have anything other that EVE when you are away from your job, then I suggest that you turn off the computer at get out to meet some people. Enjoy you life and stay positive! |
