Creating corps is a serious thing as well. I think people take corp creation too lightly and in this game it is basically the same as creating a government. You wouldn't create a new country without some thought to defense.
Also, I see noob corps whine all the time about getting decced, that is why there are merc corps. A merc corp goes under everyday because they aren't getting contracts. "Our corp is small and doesn't have the money to hire a merc corp." Well then what benefit is you having a corp serving? If you can't defend yourself and can't afford merc help then you obviously have no business operating a corp, or for that matter a corp even existing.
Instead of looking to CCP to save you, take some sort of initiative. Get out there and look for allies. Ask around for advice from more experienced corps. Stop and figure out why you aren't making enough money as a corp to hire help.

Hey you just described life. The little guy gets screwed the big guys get the money and glory. This is the greatest game in the world quite simply because, there is no penalty for complying with human nature. You can't change the rules for the weak, and we were all weak at one time. 90% of the posts in this section is from a weak person, trying to get a charity piece of the pie. When I was weak I survived by flying under the radar, gaining strength and allies, and eventually fighting for my tiny slice of the pie. I am absolutely more satisfied with this game because of that, and not because CCP held my little hand and guided me towards the pie.
Mmmmmm pie.....with all this pie talk I need a slice.

I got a better idea, let's get rid of the small noob corps. 25 mil a month to keep a corp active. The small noob corps are a bigger blight on the landscape of EVE than any war decs. I know of people that have 3 corps on their account.
All this talk makes me want to go out and frivolously dec some noob corps.

Ahhh the weak have a habit of looking to others to save them. Like I said previously, this game is meant to be like life. It's not going to be fair, the little guy doesn't always get the same opportunities as the big guys. And you Reggie should somewhat agree with this as you are in Ascendent Frontier.
Hey can my friends and I come down to the zone next to your corp's outpost and run that 10 of 10 complex? Likely not. Since being in ASCN is the ultimate in carebearing, I guess I see where your complaints are coming from.
