It is a well known fact that players need to have a permit to operate within the territory of the New Order. However, there has been much confusion in the game about what a valid New Order Mining Permit looks like.
I would propose the addition of an in-game item called "Mining Permit" that would be issued to Code agents to sell to players who wish to become compliant with the New Halaima Code of Conduct.
This topic is to be used for the discussion of what the "Mining Permit" should look like and how many should be seeded into the game.

Ok forgive me for my ignorance but I was under the assumption that CODE was a player owned and operated alliance and not affiliated with CCP.
If so why do you come the assumption that your "mining permit" in-game item will be added to Eve Online.
I would also like to bring up a small issue reguarding this idea, your code states that you can revoke a miners permit at any time, if a player owned one of your in-game item permits would it not make it near impossible for you to revoke said permit? |

Guys.. Please.. keep this within the defined parameters..
We are supposed to be discussing the look and function of the new in-game item "Mining Permit".. not it's validity. |

I fully support the idea of this becoming an item, its no different than how we got a piece of steve or Jove bits when that ambassador died.
I think the actions of CODE. are well known enough and renowned to warrant CCP giving this serious* thought Is it bad if your friend says "that was a Metaphor" and you say "Meta 4? Get Tech II or faction" ?I love the sound of silent explosions in Space.-á |

I will support the introduction of mining permits if you will support the introduction of a Carebear Batphone module that when activated allows helpless miners to instantly spawn a CONCORD fleet that includes NPC logistics for the person about to be ganked. |

This does not make you a affiliate of CCP. If you would please give evidence as to why your actions would "warrant CCP" to consider this "Mining Permit" and further assist you in targeting certain members of the Eve Online community? |

But that is as valid a request as a "Mining Permit" that will assist CODE in forcing players to purchase the right to mine, which as i recall is not a activity that a player must be granted permission in order to participate in.

In truth it was really a request for vanity items, much like the Piece of Steve or the Jove ambassador bone bits, or even the BOB Director Key. All of these mark big moments for EVE Online that had a change on the universe. As i said above I believe CODE. Should recieve this same Vanity item as we have mad many contributions to the game, to the point where there is a new post or 4 about us every day. In this context the "Mining Permit" seems like a good idea but according to the original post this item will not be as a "vanity item" but as a more literal item used to enforce your alliances beliefs upon others. |

What is this "paper" you speak about? And who the **** is CODE anyway? When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the aliterate. |

CODE's main contribution to Eve is a 4 letter word...along with the excessive use of many other 4 letter words no doubt... |
