... harvesters will be taken out of the game?
A few minutes ago, some guy tried to sell harvesters in the trade-channel for 500k isk each... that's OUTRAGEOUS!
I want some confirmation on this.. is it any idea to invest in harvesters, or will they just disappear from my hangar later. |

I'm kinda curious where this rumor started myself. They have no real way to take them out without compensating 90% of the EVE population.

The rumour started with some guy in trade channel realizing there were utterly clueless people there with lots of money.

GMs in help categorically stated harvesters are NOT being deleted/removed.
They even came to trade channel last night and said the same.
The people saying they were being removed then changed their story to.."Ummm....ahh yes our major supplier has gone and we just can't get any"
Make alts and raid convoys people...gerat fun and very profitable

The harvesters that have gone, are the ones people made using the duplication exploit, afaik. Now they're mad at having their stolen property taken away from them, they're using that story to sell what they have left at huge prices.
Basically, never believe a price check or a story about pricing, that is told to you by someone who's trying to sell the item.

Yeah harvesters will be replaced by Tech 2 Harvester drones which mine even better than the old ones.
So don't be naive to pay these ridicilous prices i see on trade chanel.

Nobody said harvester were going to be deleted from the game, what has been said is the same as Baldour states, 300k harvesters have been taken off 1 player. This player was a MASSIVE supplier of drones to resellers. Therefore there arnt many left for sale. As to the harvester dissappearing surely if there aren't many for sale and as they get killed a lot they will soon be very few left. Now can people understand whats going on?
