Flying Condor Brave New World OPUS Alliance	Posted - 2006.07.17 20:39:00 - [1] OPUS Alliance hereby announces its full reactivation as a politically individual alliance with no more relation to the former Northern Freedom Coalition (NFC) and their remainings. We have no territorial and political affairs within of Deklein anymore. The Northern Freedom Coalition was a nice experiment which started promising but eventually ended up in continous decay of discipline due to notorious dispute. Although respectable achievements were reached in membersize by throwing all sorts of different people in a extremely heterogenous group, it broke into pieces again, despite honourable efforts in transparency and democracy. Fortunately we never reached the low level of whining and playing wars on the forums like others... We are not following NFC-"bits and pieces" which have now joined Sparta or others. Although we have had good experiences with Sparta up to their act of weakness to ally with The Goons, we need to take consequences, as questionable "server-based" tactics don't fit our understanding of gameplay. Our respect goes to IRON and CORE for challenging fights! Based on our experiences during the civil war in Deklein we adjust standings to the following: Sparta is set KOS, due to cooperation with The Goons. GUARD is set KOS, due to their unprovoked attack. With D2 we copy their neutral standings towards us, but we would welcome a clarifying talk. Like D2 we don't shoot on neutrals. OPUS Alliance now resides in the boiling hot-pot of Pure Blind looking forward to challenging fights. Diplomatic channels are open, except for Sparta, Goons and FLA. D2 doesn't seem capable of beating the goons so they turn to Sparta for victories. Go ahead and blame it on POS war, just makes it even funnier considering you own half of TRUST, one of the richest entities in EVE, and are being beat monetarily and logistically by a bunch of people mining crok in frigates. Whats funny is seeing Sparta collapse is that you know 75% of the alliances on the map would fold under any serious attack. People in 0.0 want the ISK but not the fighting and will just abondon ship as soon as things get tough. It's like a big charade and they just hope no one calls them on it because they know they can't back up the 'we claim space' thing. -DeltaH

So D2 are at war in OR 2 regions away from our main peaceful stronghold, quikest route is through dek > fade > OR. but lo and behold an alliance on out doorstep decs up an allies with our enemy. What would u do? swiftly neutralize the threat on your doorstep? or just go round through empire and hope that hostile alliance on your doorstep doesnt attack?? i expect more from a BOB member..have the posts of your leaders not taught u 101 about tactics? *See You In Space Cowboy*

Should I post under alt? -DeltaH Depending on what occurs in the next couple weeks, this may be a very differant war. The sparta thing has effectivly unified the whole north against them. Or maybe everyone in the north who isn't being paid... Sparta doesn't have the numbers, or support from anyone thus far, and once they are done, which IMO won't take very long, where do you think everyone will turn? A large reason for the Goon's success was a lack of US time zone coverage in cloud ring. Guess what alliences have a large portion of US people. I'm just speculating here. But I think goon's/sparta may have shot them selves in the foot. Through some back woods politics, they've managed to unify a bunch of alliences who, untill a couple days ago, didn't have much to do with each-other. IMO I think goon's attempt at gaining allies through what ever means, and sparta's accepting of it. May have in fact garnered more support for D2. ------------- Recruit me
