Sparta doesn't have the numbers, or support from anyone thus far, and once they are done, which IMO won't take very long, where do you think everyone will turn? A large reason for the Goon's success was a lack of US time zone coverage in cloud ring. Guess what alliences have a large portion of US people.
I'm just speculating here. But I think goon's/sparta may have shot them selves in the foot. Through some back woods politics, they've managed to unify a bunch of alliences who, untill a couple days ago, didn't have much to do with each-other. IMO I think goon's attempt at gaining allies through what ever means, and sparta's accepting of it. May have in fact garnered more support for D2.
Don't get me wrong, I think Sparta is going to fold fast too. I just think D2's main reason for switching fronts is due to lack of enthusiasm for fighting goons and wanting a nice squishy target instead.
If D2 are counting on these allies they have gained with their attack against Sparta to help them against the goons in CR/Fade it is a bad calculation. It is easy to jump on a bandwagon of blasting a dying alliance. As soon as they face the goons during US hours without D2 support you will see their true colors.
D2 is the only one of that coalition that has a chance against goons and it is going to come down to who wants CR more.

If it wasnt for ¦¦Goons`` Sparta would have died already,their presence in Deklein is only a pilow between D2/friends against Sparta,which they will manage to punch through eventually.Im just sadened the events had to turn like this,but I guess its murphy¦s law.
Il be smoking me a kipper on Jita the next days,any ex sparta is welcome to join me

The Northern Freedom Coalition was a nice experiment which started promising but eventually ended up in continous decay of discipline due to notorious dispute. Based on our experiences during the civil war in Deklein we adjust standings to the following:
Sparta is set KOS, due to cooperation with The Goons.
GUARD is set KOS, due to their unprovoked attack.
With D2 we copy their neutral standings towards us, but we would welcome a clarifying talk. Like D2 we don't shoot on neutrals.
OPUS Alliance now resides in the boiling hot-pot of Pure Blind looking forward to challenging fights. Diplomatic channels are open, except for Sparta, Goons and FLA.
it's always good to know that someone new is around. one wonders what happened to you as a tournament entry though

Just for the record: FLA hired MC on their own, no D2 or Iron was involved in this. And to add to this, MC was hired against NFC and because they were disbanded and joined Sparta, also against Sparta when they joined the fight. They were not hired to help either D2 nor Iron in their fights, as they fight well enough themselves. A side effect of GS joining the fights is however that MC is shooting them too, so they do have a target in common with D2.
P.S. I'm not a FLA official, but I'm sure FLA officials can confirm this. Untill then consider this my own opinion and not my corp or alliance's.
