I can't choose my character because the browser is not loading the news !!!!
It seems the news window is big (3/4 of the screen) but not loading...
It is crazy, i can't enter the game, please close that news bugging browser...

I would like to play now,thx.
did something in the news change in the last three hours ?
i could log during the afternoon, but not anymore.

Try deleting the "(...)/eve/cache" directory

you should save your prefs.ini file however...
unless you want to setup everything all over again...

Hmm, that's weird... I usually close the window before it finishes loading.
Okay, not "usually", but sometimes.

Try going to your BIOS and setting the clock and date correct if its wrong. I heard some people havnig similar problems and if the date is more than xx days wrong then it won't load. (guess there is some check done for a silly reason :) )

The news browser never loads on my character selection screen. I just close the browser window without waiting for it.

Yes, the news browser is bugged for me, it does not load any news.
So I just close it like any other window, and choose my character.

thinks just for 1 second first, before you post.
I've logged, and reported the browser problems. I hope it will get fixed asap.
