It is too easy to criticize! But hard to put yourself in his place and think what he really think.

Do you trade? I mean do you really trade as a profession in EVE?

I do and I can tell you HELL NO IT IS NOT A EASY or as someone else wrote I WIN button.

As a trader I agree that market data should be universalised (as a sketch idea), I dont think it is good for the comunity to have individual regional markets. An universal market quote would make trades between regions much more dinamic than it is actually is and more dynamism brings more player interaction wich is good for the comunity.

If it is not enought, having the ability to check the prices universally WILL NOT make trader¦s life much more easier just a little bit. Today when I want to check out all the regions I use a mix of interceptors and alts and in less then 3 hours I have all the information I need. It is the fastest and easier part of the the profesion adn it is boring. I could say it is the CUT BORING button hoooo yes! But we traders still need to go on each region and place our order, we need to phisically go on each place to pick up the itens (wich is the most borign part) and then bring it to the market hubs.

I DONT agree on be able to place buy/sell order universally ONLY check the prices universally.

BUT even if CCP decides to open market universally and make skills to us to place buy/sell orders universally there is still A LOT of factors that will help keep the best oportunities on regional scale, even constelation scale, for example, some miners even knowing they can sell they nox, zyd or mega for very nice profit on market hubs, they still prefer to stay in low sec and sell them for a lower price, maybe because they are afraid to haul theyr expensive mins between bootleneck, maybe because they are lazy to do 30 jumps or more. And this are just 2 examples of a lot of other factor why regional market will still have its benefits and the hard core trader will still need to go on selected regions/constelations to place his/her trade orders.

But if the problem is technical then CCP could still make a universal market price check availtable thru skill needed, perhaps it could be only available with trade agents or time limited, lets say you check the market now and you can only check the market again in 3 hours or 5 hours.
